Introduction
One of the oldest organizations that is a flag carrier is Airline India. The company is
maintained by Air India Limited which is owned by a governmental enterprise (Pearson et al.
2015). The company also operates in a series of Airbus and Boeing aircraft that assists 94
domestic as well as international destinations. Every Organization bear a social responsibility
that is a type of global private business self-regulation is called corporate social responsibility.
The primary aims of this report are to analyses Air India’s corporate social responsibility and
evaluate it. Firstly the report discusses air India’s corporate social responsibility, and secondly,
the corporate social policy is evaluated. Thirdly, the report presents recommendation based on
the analysis followed by a holistic view in conclusion.
Air India’s CSR policy:
Air India has been open about keeping its corporate social responsibility in their top
priority and making it a hallmark for them. There are several activities included in Air India’s
corporate social policy (Low and Lee 2014). Several principles guide the objective of Air India
CSR policy for carrying out operations of CSR policy. The company aim to demonstrate an
absolute commitment to the common good by good governance and by conducting responsible
business practices. To actively support the development of state agenda in term of ensuring
sustainable change is the company’s objective. It has also agreed extraordinary standards of
quality in the name of delivering facilities in the social sector by the method of vigorous
processes and replicable model creation. Also, the company aim to bring about a sense of
empathy and equity among all its employees to motivate them towards giving service to the
society (Airindia.in 2018).
