Question 1
Airworthiness is guided by the regulations that ensure its proper applications, design approvals,
issuance of environmental certificate and operations. During this stage, many factors need to be
considered;
 The necessary documentation regarding dispatch and supplementary
 Certification of noise regulations
 Certificates regarding environmental pollution and protection
 Guidelines regarding airworthiness directives1

Acceptance Means of Compliance (AMC) refers to the standards that are not abiding which are
adopted by the Agency in the illustration of the means of establishing compliances with
Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 as well as its Implementing Rules (IR-OPS). The AMC is used as

Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) is the legal document provided by National Aviation

as being in a condition deemed safe for operation. No civil aircrafts are permitted to fly without
having a valid ARC.
A Certificate of Release of Service (CRS) is a statement bearing the signature of a Licensed
Aircraft Engineer with the required certifying approvals that asset the aircraft is of appropriate

airworthiness to the extent adequate for a safe flight. The CRS has to be given prior to flight
upon the completion of any conducted maintenances.
