nation. Consuming alcohol is generally the leading cause and is associated to the major burden of
the illness in an underdeveloped as well as the evolving countries. Within UK, it is generally the
third most prevalent element for the leading illness as well as the injuries within the developed
countries as well. In this, addiction is generally referred to as a chronic, relapsing illness as well
as is characterised by a compulsive drug seeking as well as an abusive it is because of the long
lasting chemical alterations within the brain. In this, there are the cultural as well as the social
elements which can put the public at higher risk (Alley, Kerr and Bae, 2020). Lack of adequate
education, Poverty, stressful environment and unemployment are generally at higher risk. The
environmental risk elements are generally the characteristics within a person’s surrounding
which can enhance their possibilities of becoming addicted towards the drugs like family, school,
community and peers as well.
