Introduction
When the world has witnessed substantiation rise of industries coupled with
technological innovation and expansion what is generally left unnoticed or unaddressed is what
cost is the environment paying to accommodate these technological and industrial expansions
(Salic and Zelic, 2018.). The need of this hour is nothing else but to addresses these issues and
work towards creating a sustainable environment which is both progressive in terms of human
growth as well as is well inclined towards marinating a green and healthy environment. One of
the primary ways to addresses the reduction of waste generation is by reducing the usage of
paper in every day (Isaeva and Yoon, 2016). Papers are significantly used by schools, colleges,
education institutions as well as offices in their various day to day activities. Thus with the
unprecedented growth of technology going paper less is exactly the need of this hour. This need
has aroused due to the significant amount of increasing deforestation leading to threatening
conditions like global warming and soil erosion which is completely changing the course of
biodiversity. Thus, this easy will primarily highlight on the importance of going paperless for
varied universities and devising strategic plans of action for protecting the biodiversity at all
cost.
