The high degree of incarceration in the country of United States and overcrowded prisons
resulting from judgment of policy makers enhance the application of prison sentencing. The
decision taken by the police officials to stress on street level detention of dealers of drug and
development in the existing attitudes headed for criminals and crime that lead to judges,
prosecutors and parole to deal with more harshly manner with the offenders (Clear & Frost,
2015). The raise of incarceration rates in United States over early 40 years resulting in increase
of both probability of imprisonment and spans of prisoning sentence. The policy involves in
reforming the contemporary justice structure and resolving the existing issues includes the
following :
1. Maintaining the focus of the tribal, state and federal administration in the want of
juvenile and criminal justice structure
2. Representing the tribal, state, juvenile and local criminal justice structure concerning to
state government
3. Contributing support for the progress of the criminal justice structure for tribal leaders
and Nation’s governors.
4. Support both public and government at all level in achieving safety to the public by
effective coordination to social, community, education system and also to the law
execution and measures to the criminal justice.
5. Promoting efficient criminal and juvenile practices and policies.
6. Propagates for committing sufficient resources to maintain all aspect of criminal justice
system

7. Proper co ordination between different levels of government and promoting broad
philosophical arrangement .
The National Criminal Justice Association establish to upgrade the progress of criminal
justice system in tribal nations, states and bodies of local government that improve the safety to
public and also helps in the prevention of adverse effects of criminal conduct on individuals ,
victims and communities. It also focuses on adjudicating sanction offenders and defendants in
fair and just manner. The healthy relationship between the inhabitants of communities and
police agencies are vital for efficient safety of the public (Freudenberg & Heller, 2016). The
mutual respect and trust favors the confidence of the public in fair execution of laws and also
facilitates in the improvement of public safety. The second policy is coordinating effective
criminal justice. The criminal justice structure is the codependent system with the critical
functioning of public agencies at all margins of private entities and government. The efficient
criminal justice structure is improved significantly by proper analysis, planning and coordinating
amongst various sectors at state and regional levels. Both the government and non governmental
participants of justice system should upkeep in these effective strategy. The third policy is public
safety on illicit drugs. The drug abuse elevate the risk determinants of criminal and anti social
behavior. The controlling of criminal act and application of criminal justice structure for
addressing the issue of drug abuse should be adopted as last resort in response to societal issues.
The health care system at private and public level should be sufficiently funded in order to evade
uncertain criminal justice structure responses. The offenders who are victimized of drug
disorders, the justice system must resolve the high criminogenic risk of the offenders in
combinations with treatment and criminal sanctions. The fourth policy is programing based on
evidences and practices which implies that safety to the public in the criminal justice structure
