INTRODUCTION
In the dynamic business environment, it becomes very necessary for organisations to
build a better business strategy (Venkatesan, 2017). Business strategy is defined as a long-term
plan that includes goals and objectives of organisation in order to achieve them. But one thing
that should be considered by entrepreneur is creativity. Creativity becomes the success element
and that’s why it should be linked with business strategy. This will be understood with the help
of Amazon strategy. This report will be cover emerging things and technologies that create
opportunities and challenges for organisation.

Amazon is one of the big five companies that operate in US. It is the multinational
technology company that has a focus on e-commerce, digital streaming, and cloud computing
and artificial intelligence (Kong, Liu and Pan, 2021). Currentlythey are focusing on their
business strategy i.e. go global and act local which is the synonym of GLOCAL. This business
strategy empowers their domestic retail industry and also benefited in the process of expansion
their business in global platform. For that purpose, they are focusing on initiating a drone
program which is a part of Amazon delivery service. The reason of behind the new drone
program is to foster convenient and better services to the customers. This will benefited
definitely as it creates a strategic advantage which ensures high consumer services.
Emerging technologies and their forms
In 2021, it is found that emerging technologies play an important role in the success of
Amazon as it has the greatest impact in 2020. There are many forms of emerging technologies
which are necessary for today’s information technology companies. Some important forms are
mentioned below:

 Artificial intelligence: It is defined as programmed algorithms which is the largest force
in today's emerging technology (Polacco and Backes, 2018). It automatically applies and
parses knowledge.
 5G: This is the second emerging technology that improvements in low latency, high
device density, intelligent power consumption and network slicing. It provides an
opportunity for the channels in smart cities.
 Server less computing: It is defined function as a service that enables every organisation
to build applications. This technology offers a platform which is based on consumption
that allows developers to develop cost effective and quick applications.
One specific emerging technology that impact on Amazon
The above discussed emerging technologies play a very important role on information
technology companies. It plays a vital role on Amazon as the business is based on technology.
Amazon is using artificial intelligence, internet of things, augmented analysis, etc. They offer
money tools to the consumer which covers virtual reality, block chains, machine learning and
robotics, etc. The reason behind using of emerging technologies is it becomes the key element of
success and growth of organisation. That's why every organisation is trying to focus on emerging
technologies. One more important reason for choosing emerging technologies is company is
focusing on creativity as they believe that people has a interest on new products and services that
developed by creativity.
Practical way of maximizing identified opportunity or overcoming challenge
Artificial intelligence and cloud computing are becoming the future of Amazon as it
maximizes their opportunities and overcoming with the challenges that they face (da Costa and
et. al., 2017). Due to high competition in the market, it becomes very important for Amazon that
they have to focus on new technologies which helps to overcome with the competition and
complexity of market. Amazon is not only overcoming with their challenges but also generating
money growth opportunities.

Practical plan that demonstrate strategy would be implemented
With the analysis of market, it is very important for Amazon that they will formulate a
practical plan according to their strategy which needs to be implementing in an effective and
efficient way. This is necessary for Amazon that there plan should be according to strategy. For
that purpose, some important considerations should be undertaken under their strategy which is
mentioned below:
SMART objectives
It needs to clarify to Amazon that their objective should be SMART that means it should
be a specific, measurable, achievable, reliable and time bound. The SMART objective of
Amazon is, “to offer the best and convenient services to consumer in the lowest possible prices”.
Resources
For achievement of goals and objectives, it is necessary for organisation that they should
allocate all resources (Wegmann and et. al., 2018). This can be possible after analysing the
current situation of existing resources in company so that they will be allocate all resources in a
best possible way. Some important resources which need to be considered in order to implement
the objectives are as follows:

in order to implement their objective successfully. Without human resources, it is not
possible for a company implement and achieves their goals and objectives.

resources for them. Technologies and other resources make their business creative and

internet of things, virtual intelligence, etc.
 Financial resources: In today's business environment, it is not possible for any
organisation that they can run their business without financial resources. Financial
resources are the backbone of organisation because they are becoming able to purchase
equipment and materials which is necessary to implement their objective.

In order to achieve goals and objectives, it is necessary for Amazon that they should
follow the steps of action plan as it is the part of a strategy. Amazon should consider the time
frame in order to achieve their goals and objectives (Baboolal-Frank, 2021). Time frame plays a
major role in the success of organisation as today's business environment is growing very fast
that's why organisation has not enough time to think about options and tools. So they need to
achieve their goals and objectives in a particular time period. Some important steps of action
plan are mentioned below:
 After setting a smart goal with time frame, Amazon needs to give priority to their task
and schedule them.
 It is necessary for Amazon that they should identify and analyse the current or emerging
themes of business environment with analysis of customers' tastes and preferences. It will
help them in order to track their progress.
 After reviewing emerging themes of business environment, they should take an action.
Their actions are covering implementation of all important tools that offers best services
to the consumers with lowest prices.
 Monitoring and controlling of plan is very important after implementation of their action
plan.
Evaluation of implemented objective in order to determine successful or not
The success of business growth is depending on Amazon’s action plan where they
implement their objectives. This is necessary for organisation that they have to clear about their
goals and objectives. It will lead to achievement of goals and objectives. When every employee
of organisation knows that what they have to be done then they give their best which results in
achievement of desired results.
