THE INFLUENCE OF AMERICAS HISTORY 2
EFFECTS OF AMERICAS HISTORICAL EVENT ON ITS CURRENT
CONDITION.
Time immemorial, a series of events happened that contributed to America’s current
political, economic, and social reputation as the world’s economically super power among the
many powerful countries. In other words, several factors/ events contributed to its current
situation. These events were both positive and negative. In my opinion, America was greatly
impacted on by the civil wars that took place in America, the industrial revolutions, the wars of
independence, and the world war among others. This phenomenon substantially contributed to
Americas current state and position (Bankston, & Caldas, 2015).
The war of independence; this was the war that led America to its independence from the
British rule. The natives gained independence and were able to alter policies that favored the
general mutual growth of their interest. The independence from the British saved them from
living under captivity (Shelden, & Vasiliev, 2017). This contributed to substantial change in the
way America operated. An official constitution was drawn, a book of rules that governed the
operations of the country. Several bills of rights were also drafted that was meant to protect its
citizens from illegal mistreatments (Du Bois, 2017). The establishment of these document helped
in attaining freedom and democracy in America as all the citizens had the right to vote on how
the country should be ruled and governed. This is the time when the first president was chosen,
who by then was gorge Washington (Chou, & Feagin, 2015).
The world war two; this was a status changing war as America emerged as the
superpower. The collapse of USSR I the year 1991 give in a green light for the American state to

exceptionally stand as the superpower among the several economies. Thus has left a remarkable
reputation that grants America as the highest state in the world. With reputation, the country has
been able to lobby and get more resources from other economies. In relation to America being
the super power, the country’s currency is currently regarded as an international currency that
can be used all over the world. This is a very vital and important position for an economy to hold
(Ruland & Bradbury, 2016).
From 1865 to 1920, there existed three aspects of industrial revolution, which
substantially affected the current US society, both economically and politically. During the
industrial revolution, there was a tremendous change in the pattern of settlement and population
distribution. This was witnessed from the rural urban migration that occurred as people went to
cities in search of jobs. In other words, the patterns of population distribution was considerably
hampered due to the rural urban migration (Marable, 2015). Such led to high population in the
few cities that took on industrialization and up to present, it made the urban areas greatly and
densely populated as compared to the semi urban areas. However, it is typically more
advantageous in that the rural urban migration provided cheaper labor for the then, industrial
revolution. The entrepreneurs were in position to access cheaper labor. This facilitated rapid
growth of the economy, which we can say that it has an impact on the current economic state/
condition of the economy (Rothman, 2017)
However, industrial revolution on the other hand contributed positively to America’s
current state/ condition. This time marked a turning point in America’s economic status. This is
the time when there was a substantial change I the social economic state of the economy. In the
current situation, America is regarded as a super power. With no doubt, we can all agree that
America’s current economic status was contributed by industrialization reign (Meade, 2016).
