In anger, Roy took the step which is not ethical according to law. This paper will elaborate different theories which will help to evaluate the overall murder case. Utilitarianism theory Utilitarianism is related with the best action and the best act is the one in which the utility is maximized. It is a kind of consequentialism which tells that the result of any act is related to the standard of right and wrong. According to this theory, the feelings are showcased by the actions which take place by an individual. The feelings are also linked with the activities which are done by a person. If the focus is given on the concept related to consequentialism it is seen that ego is one of the important factor that should be considered. Also in this theory equality is the major factor on which emphasis is given. Deontology Theory This theory gives emphasis on the theory which helps to judge the acts conducted by an individual.
