Executive Summary
This report aims to analyse the network requirements of Advanced
Medicos Limited (AML) and present the network designs for the current
network infrastructure as well as the proposed one. First the
requirements get discussed and specifics are given in tabular format.
Then the report talks about the topologies required for implementing the
two network set ups. Each of these topologies are illustrated with the
help of diagrams. After this the logical design of AML’s current network
is presented. Based on this the current physical topology is drawn in
cisco packet tracer and described followed by the same for the proposed
design. Then the IP addressing method is explained and the IP
addressing tables are given for the current and proposed networks.
Thereafter the report ends with concluding notes.

1. Introduction
This report analyses the network requirements of Advanced
Medicos Limited (AML) and presents network designs for current

2. Requirements
2.1 Analysis
Currently the network infrastructure of AML includes the headquarters
which is a two winged building, these are wing A and wing B (Jorissen,
Boydens and Helsen 2019). The distance between the two wings of the
headquarters is 20m. Though the network currently serves only 200
employees the requirement is soon to increase to beyond 400. Advanced
Medicos Limited consists (AML) includes the four departments that are
Software Development, Marketing department, Production department
and Administration. Software development and Marketing departments
are located in wing A and Production and Administration departments
