This document is a leadership assessment tool for frontline supervisors. It helps in assessing the leadership behaviour and style of an individual. The tool is based on the Leadership Attributes Scales devised as part of the Leadership Curriculum, Monash University. It includes instructions and a set of questions to be answered by the individual. The document also provides a graphic layout to map the scores and determine the type of frontline leader an individual is. The different styles of leaders are discussed in detail along with their typical characteristics.

Instructions
The following items describe aspects of leadership behaviour. Respond to each item according to the way YOU
would be most likely to act in your leadership role. Place a tick in the column 1, 2, 3 or 4 where you believe this
characteristic would be part of your style.
