Introduction
In this summary the SWOT analysis of the information technology has done and the growth in
the IT sector has been evaluated. The summary will reflect the prediction of the It technology
and forecast the IT spending in the Egypt over 2020-2024. There were several market drivers
which bullish the It demand growth so in this summary that will also be elaborated. In this
summary the industry trends and development un the IT technology of the Egypt will also be

The IT technology in the Egypt is emerging and the strong growth has been seen in the year 2018
and 2019. There are new updating versions of the Microsoft are coming which is benefiting the
company and they are shifting towards the computer hardware (Baller, et al., 2016). The private

In the article provided the major strengths which were shown is that Egypt is the largest country
in Middle East and Africa but people over there ate adopting less information technology. The
government policy designs in the company are effective which helps in developing the ICT
sector. The weakness of the information technology in the Egypt is that people over there have
the low income so it reduces the software market growth (McGann, 2020). The development of
the technologies like internet of things and cloud computing is not emerging as there is the
deficit of the network infrastructure.

to the increasing the demand of the software’s and services due to the recovery of the
devaluation crisis. The government of the Egypt is promoting the ICT and also boosting the
software and hardware services. There is certain threat related to the information technology in
the Egypt such as software privacy is the biggest issue.
It was forecasted by the IT industry in the Egypt that the growth in the IT sector will enhance by
the growth rate of 16.3%. In the year 2020 it was out looked that COVID 19 virus the economy
has disrupted and the growth has slightly lowered in the year 2020. There is the positive outlook
for the country Egypt as the growth has been seen in the consumption and the high investment
levels (Samans, et al., 2015).It was also forecasted in the article that the growth will be taken at
the great rate in the computer hardware market.

as the government regulations, supply and demand of the software and hardware services, could
services, improvement in the infrastructure, increasing population and their purchasing power in
the country Egypt. All these factors affect the demand forecast.
