Leadership issues
There are several issues that can arise if the project manager does not work effectively that
are as follows:
If the project leader is not available whenever that is required, then the consequences
reflects on the project [4]. The project manager is always responsible for clearing all the doubts,
questions and queries of the shareholders and the team members.
If the project manager does not trust its team members then this will have an adverse effect
on the team work. If every decision is taken without consulting with the team this can affect the
team members and they will be lacking trust on their leaders.
If the team leader does not have proper planning of the project this can lead to ineffective
execution of the project [1]. If the team leader does not have proper resource and time planning can
result in ineffective project result.
If the project manager does not appreciate its member this can lead to discouragement to
the team members and they can lack hard work next time.
Of the leader do not communicate well with its employees or staff members this can lead to
wrong execution of project.
Leadership styles
Four leadership styles that are articulated by Charles are as follows:
 Emotional and intuitive leader(green): -These leaders are considered as the coach for very
large and extensive projects [4]. They come under the category who strongly respect and
care about human values and respect their feelings. This type of leaders is considered as
builder of the people and provide gratitude to all its members and staffs.
 Emotional and sensing leader(yellow): -This leaderis considered as the ultimate marketing
experts for large and complex project. These type of leaders have the capability to
encourage the team members who do not show interest towards work [2]. They create
harmonious team who work together for the success of the project.

 Logical and Intuitive leader (Blue): - They are considered as the most innovative leaders who
can lead a research project and early phase project. The come up to their commitment very
effectively and have a very good idea building capacity.
 Logical and sensing leader (orange): - These type of leaders believes in completion of the
work on time weather they have to take ruthless way [2]. These leaders are highly
disciplined, organized about their work and using processes that are reliable.
ProjectSuccess
As described by Charles the effective leading style is the green and yellow. According to him
the management of project is about how the team work unitedly [4]. The human relationship is an
important factor because carrying out a good relationship with team member encourage them to
work effectively. The team, team leader, stakeholders working together can give better results. So,
ultimately it is very important that leader of the project do not have any emotional relationships
with the team members and have to develop a genuine gratifying behavior. The leaders need to
have the capability to handle large and complex project, which are also a quality of an effective
project manager [1]. Project management leader is also responsible for the execution of the whole
project and need to be accountable for the work done by its team members. No matter how difficult
it is to make a tea work a capable leader will able to manage its team effectively and thus ensuring
successful result. It is explained well in the workshop held by him as well as in his book the most
effective project management leader’s quality.
Ethical issues
Several ethical issues arise during the launch case of Hubble telescope: -
The responsibility of the design engineer is not met which lead to unsuccessful launch of the
telescope. The engineers failed to responsibly communicating the NASA team.The management do
not give enough importance to the astronaut’s safety [3]. The issues that can be the potential danger

are not evaluated properly. The known design faults are ignored by the scientists of the NASA, which
lead to the failure of the project. The ethical issues can be solved by giving more importance to
design errors that arises and noted by the design engineers. Before launching of the telescope all the
safety issue needed to be taken care off. The ethical issues that arises can be abolished by proper
care and observation by the NASA team. Thus the not fulfillment of the ethical issues within the
organization results in the several issues. The ethical dilemma that arises in a project need to be
solved so that the organization can increase the profit scale. No life of the employees who are
engaged with the project will be in danger. The issues that arises in the launching of the Hubble
scope telescope ethical issues of n be resolved if it have followed all the ethical issues that arises.
These will also help to make the launching of the Hubble scope telescope successful.
