INTRODUCTIONOrganisational behaviour refers to the working behaviour of individuals and workforce inan organisation. The power, culture and politics highly influence the behaviour of the workers inthe firm. So, maintaining a healthy working environment and behaviour is highly essentials fororganisations for improving their performance and productivity. Tesco is the taken company inthis report which is a supermarket chain in the United Kingdom. It has the base that serves thelargest service area in the world and they employees more than 5mn employees in their retailoutlets in the world. This report will discuss the impact of power, politics and culture on theworking behaviour of managers along with the impact on team performance other individual'sperformance in the organisation. Also the evaluation for motivating the teams and individuals toaccomplish the desired goals using various content and process theories of motivation will bediscussed.LO1 P1 Analysis of how an organisation's culture, politics and power influence the individual andteam behaviour with effect on the performance.Organisation's culture is the culture that defines the working environment of organisation.Organisations culture depends on its workforce and managers who are managing them. This typeof culture in a company includes vision, belief and regulations that governs them (Coccia, 2014).Tesco is a retail super brand chain where culture in organisation is required so as to make theemployees work in better way. For this a Psychologist named Handy has defined a theory thathelp in understanding the different culture in organisation. These typology of Handy is defined Ivarious ways which are discussed below:Handy's Typology This typology defines four different culture that are followed in an organisation which are:Power Culture: This is the type of culture where Power is given to few individuals who decide theworking and managing of organisation. In this culture feedback of subordinates are not takeninto consideration as decision making power is held in the hand superiors or the bosses. In Tescothis culture helps in taking decision more quickly. It helps Tesco in such a way that they can usethis culture to get rid of the problems that arises.1
