Executive Summary
The aim of this paper is to demonstrate the model of Stewardship that is given by Block and
Wilson. In this report the potential benefits and challenges are also described. The advantages
of implementing the Wilson model in an organizational setting is also depicted. The report
concluded that stewardship model can improve the profit of the organization.

ANALYSIS OF WILSON MODEL
Introduction
The concept of stewardship is taking care of property or organization which belongs
to someone else. Applying the theory of stewardship in an organization will help to motivate
people to work for the well being of the other rather than working for self-interests 9Ross et
al. 20160. The employees of the organization will see themselves as the caretaker and will
focus on their duties towards the organization (Silva and Krasny 2016). The idea of
stewardship is described by Wilson R. Kent and Peter Block implement the idea of
Stewardship in their respective books. By implementing this model the organization can
develop a better environment and can also increase the productivity (Balakrishnan, Malhotra
and Falkenberg 2017).
Discussion
Wilson and Block model
In Wilson stewardship model he described stewardship in a non-profitable
organization. He explain the concept of steward leaders who exercise their duty with humility
of a slave. He also explained in the past how the stewards play their role. Wilson described
that how steward leadership is applied in estate, prison and even also in national level
(Wilson 2016). Wilson also described that the steward hold authority independently and
dependently. Wilson also described prototypical steward. There are several consequences of
acting as a owner which are explained in his book. He explain the role of steward in the
Bible. The block model of stewardship is based upon three pillars that are empowerment,
partnership and service. It force the leaders to think for the second time about the way they
do their daily work. It is applied to many other fields such as society, community in a general
way and to a workplace. By implementing this model in different area gives a successful
result in a variety of fields(Simpkins and Lemyre 2018). The block model is based upon
