Project Team: The project will be executed with efficient team members. This
will include project manager, developer, and system analyst, and database
manager, developer.
Background
The organization Newnham Marketing Inc. is a well-established organization that offers
wide range of services towards the customers. The company has 61 employees and
focuses on providing efficient services towards the customer. The organization
operates with huge customer base and aims at providing better quality of services
towards them. However it has been observed that due to lack of inadequate business
processes and improper version of windows it became very difficult to manage the
overall performance. The lack of proper business performance lead to increase in
security related risks. With the increase in growth it can be stated that there is a need
to have proper business strategy that will be capable of enhancing the business
performance. In past it has been observed that the, the Microsoft peer-to-peer
workgroup had acceptable performance when the company had only 12 employees.
However with increase in employees and customer rates it becomes very difficult to
manage the data sets. With fewer employees it was observed that customer data were
easily accessible. With many more desktops now, searches can take minutes and its
hampering the overall performance of the business activities.
The performance can be enhanced with the use of proper technology it will become
easy to enhance the performance. Thus there is a need to improve the overall
performance of the organization with efficient business application packages.
ADempiere open source business application package is designed for the purpose of
providing efficient process for managing the customers, orders and quotes.
Business Objectives
The business objective that is associated with the project is that it will help in
enhancing the overall performance of the organization and will also increase the
efficiency. With the use of proper project implementation it is expected that the
overall performance will improve. For the purpose of improving the efficiency within
the existing infrastructure, data management and backup has been used. With the
help of this approach it becomes easy to enhance the data that are maintained within
the PC of every employee. There are certain measurable objectives associated with
the project. The objective is to enhance the business performance so that it becomes
easy to meet the needs. With the help of the project it is expected that the overall
performance can be enhanced. This are discussed below:

Statement of Scope
with the execution of the project it is estimated that the overall performance will also
improve. The objective of the project is to offer an efficient process that will be
capable of meeting the needs of the organization. The estimated budget for the
project is around $150000. The project will be executed in three phases that includes
the new local tower type tower development, transforming old windows and replacing
PC. All the project implementation needs to be maintained effectively at the time of
project execution. The scope of the project is to enhance the overall performance of
the system with the use of effective measures.
Monitoring and Evaluation
The project will be executed in different phases so that it becomes easy to monitor the
activities. The key phases that will be associated with the project include initiation,
planning, designing and evaluation, execution and closure. With the use of proper
monitoring it becomes easy to manage the overall performance of the system.
