ANALYSIS ON THE EFFECTS OF POPULATION GROWTH
Introduction:
In this age of increase in population the amount of pollution is also increasing day by
day. Population is always is directly proportionate to the pollution. Therefore the increase in the
number of population has resulted in polluting the world greatly. The United Nations have
started researching against the countries which are generating great amount of pollution also
exceedingly crossing the limit of population. United Nation has addressed to identify those
countries and bring in a paper that will provide the information regarding the rise in pollution.
Therefore this research paper will cover the probable criteria that it will be looking into:
background, how the emission of harmful gases causes problems for the developing world,
causes and solutions of the Greenhouse Gas. The research paper will be considering China as one
of the most polluted developing countries in the world. There are a lot of greenhouse gases of
them, carbon dioxide will be considered as one of the most affecting gas of all of them. The
research will be looking into the scientific research works and rely on statistical evidences for the
production of the research as addressed by the UN and will infer upon the information produced
and accessed. (Sarkodie, Samuel Asumadu, and Vladimir Strezov.2019).
Section 1. Background:
Greenhouse Gas:
Greenhouse Gases are the gases that are produced from the transports, air
conditioners and various facilities than run on fossil fuels, this gases are absorbed
by the infrared radiation and creates a gaseous blanket over the atmosphere. It
does not let the excessive heat to reflect back away from earth rather than making
stay within the atmosphere causing rise in temperature. This process is much

similar to that of the greenhouses where plants are grown therefore the gases are
termed as Green House Gases. For example- carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons,
methane, nitrous oxide. (Chang, Yuan, et al. 2015)
Greenhouse contribute to Global Warming:
The greenhouse gases create a gaseous mass right under the atmosphere as
there are a lot of gaseous components along with the impurities that are released
into the air. These gaseous does not gets absorbed by the earth’s atmosphere and
therefore remains suspended into the atmosphere. Due to use of various kinds of
gadgets and transport that use fossil fuels to run and function and due to smoking,
the amount of gases emitted are of a huge quantity. Due to this the gases forming
blanket right under the atmosphere does not let the extra heat of the sunrays to
reflect away from the earth. Hence the heat remains within the earth’s atmosphere
and therefore it is causing in global warming. Which indirectly is hampering the
weather and the climate and also is responsible in melting of the ice bergs
(Herndon, J. Marvin 2018).
Section 2. Emission Causing Problems for the Developing World:
Countries producing the most Greenhouse Gases:
At present there are a number of countries that are producing greenhouse gases.
This is highly seen in the developed countries but the developing countries are producing
as well. China is the highest producer leading the charts of Carbon dioxide production
being a developing country as per 2015 statistical information provided by the Union of
