Thank you so much for giving me with the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is
……………………. and I have a diploma in medical from ……… college. Moreover, I have
completed my bachelors from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and Masters in Science in
Medical Imaging from University of Aberdeen. Presently, I am working as the radiology
supervisor from February 2017 and in the past, I was working as radiographer from the year
2008 to 2017. My strengths include the hard-working attitude along with self-motivation which
gives me the strength to cross hurdles in professional life.
Describe your teaching style?
My style of teaching can be best described as supportive, interactive as well as
transparent wherein I try to encourage my students regarding the importance of speaking and
discussing and having their own voice in classroom. I make them feel comfortable wherein I
provide them with the opportunity to come up to me with the different questions and queries and
try to solve them as soon as possible. I encourage the active participation in the conversations
regardless of the level of the confidence pursued by them.
How would you manage the behaviour of your students in the class room?
While dealing with the students in the classroom, there can be various students with
varied natures and in such situation, letting the students help in establishing their guidelines can
be one of the most effective techniques which can be incorporated by me. I will be allowing
them in showcasing their viewpoints and making them feel comfortable. Moreover, I will be
avoiding the concept of punishing the class as it will be making the students stubborn and it can
moreover hurt the relationships with the students who are already on task. The encouragement
of initiative is the other aspect which will be adopted by me such as letting them involve in
delivering short presentations which will be keeping them busy and indulged.

How would you cope with the pressures of teaching?
Although in the day to day life, I try to prioritize the different activities and responsibilities
which are owned by me and I have the experience in handling the pressure which ultimately
leads to some great things. Once I am appointed with a task which needs to be completed within
a stipulated deadline, I try to work effectively and finish the task within specified deadline. I
believe in the fact that the pressure helps in bringing out the best in me and it helps in allowing
me to accomplish various tasks and without any issue.
Tell me about a teaching lesson you were involved in that didn’t go well and what you
learned from?
When I started to teach, I faced quite a lot of problems with discipline and in such
instance, the class wherein I was teaching was noisy and I yelled at the students. In such
scenario, I left the classroom immediately and I felt it was the ineffective teaching which was
performed by me in the respective scenario. From the respective instance, I tried to learn that
previously I did not have the knowledge in gaining the respect from the students as I was not
highly experienced. Later on, I learnt the fact that I should not lose temper and need to handle
the classroom which will be creating peaceful environment for both me and the students.
Why do you want to be radiography instructor?
While I was studying radiography, the main aspect which was learnt was developing people
skills as to provide the excellent kind of patient care. The caring of different patients is at the
heart of what the different radiographers do and it will be helping me in dealing with the
different scenarios which will be helping me in handling the different scenarios successfully. It
will be effective for maintaining and use diagnostic equipment. In order to become a
radiography instructor in an institution, I feel that the main aspect which is needed is the degree

easy for the students and make them understand that the subject is interesting and it can be
helpful for them in learning the tasks in an easy manner as well.
How would you handle difficult student?
While I was working in schools or colleges, there were times when I had to handle difficult
students and, in such scenario, I used to stay in contact with their parents which helped me in
warning them. I never tried to take the behaviour of such students on a personal front and turned
the negatives into positives which assisted me in managing the students positively. The
communication is the other important criteria which has been chosen by me while teaching in
class as I felt that both ways communication is the key element which will be helpful for dealing
with such students.
How would you motivate students?
I tried to become a role model for the students in the classroom and tried to know each and
every student personally. I feel to motivate a student, I need to become and gain the position of
student as to understand their performance and the issues which are faced by them. In the current
scenario, students undergo a lot of pressure which affects their mental stability. In such scenario,
I need to handle them through creating interest for studying and telling them anecdotes will be
beneficial in lightening the ambience and gaining trust.
Why do you want to work in the college?
I feel that while working in college, I will be able to gain the time management skills
as learning to manage the time with classes as well as work will be helpful for adapting much
more quickly. It will be suitable in benefitting in learning for dealing with people at work. There
is high level of difference between working with people in school and working with people at
their job. I have the teamworking skills which is the key ingredient in the process of teaching the
students which will be helping me in dealing with students as a group and performing the tasks

without any difficulty. I feel that I am eligible in handling the different queries of the students
within short span of time and it will be helpful for the institution to deliver the effective results
in comparison to other institutions which are present.
What makes you different from the other candidates?
I feel that I am good communicator and I find it easy for me in relating to other people
effectively. I am qualified for the respective position as I have the skills which is needed for the
job and the experience to back it up as well. Moreover, previously I have worked as the
radiographer in an institution which has helped me in gaining proper knowledge in the
respective field which will be easier and suitable for me to deal with the different variants in a
successful manner. I feel that while working, I will be delivering the exceptional results and
achieve the success for the entire company in comparison to the other candidates who have
appeared for the interview. In addition, I have the capability of learning new things and I am
constantly seeking out the new learning opportunities.
What are your plans for teaching?
I have finished my masters in Radiography in the year 2017 and from my experience,
I have noticed that as to become a professional teacher, the first thing which is efficient is
attending the effective training which will be helpful for me in dealing with different students
with various temperaments. I attended the different courses which has been effective for me in
understanding the growth prospects of the company and more practice helps me in growing up.
Despite the different kinds of hurdles, I feel that I have the capability in handling the different
aspects in a suitable manner and improve my standards related to teaching effectively.
What courses could you offer to teach?
I have the capability of teaching the different courses on radiography on the different bachelor’s
aspects successfully. I have been successful in possessing knowledge regarding the different

medical imaging technology along with radiography and imaging science which will be capable
of handling the different subjects successfully. I possess the knowledge regarding the different
kinds of technologies which are required to be possessed and generate high efficiency in the
teaching prospects which will be delivered by me.
How would you contribute to the administration of the department?
While working in the organization, I can assure you that I will be capable of providing the
payroll details of the employees for maintaining the different records of the company. Moreover,
I have the capability in helping in cost cutting in the different areas related to operations
successfully and in the contribution to the administration of department, I will be capable of
generating integrity in the company which is needed to be followed. If any of the employee goes
against the ethics of the organization, it is required to be highlighted by me to the administration
of the department and I will be able to handle the operations in a successful manner. The
administrative department is sensitive and the eyes need to be opened always which will be
capable by me in increasing the day to day work operations effectively.
