The study described the efficacy of a good communication between the nurses and their
patients in case of individualized care. The study used various previous scholarly studies to
determine the principles of effective communication and the proper way of speaking with
their patient in order to build up a proper therapeutic relationship with them. The study
decided that in order to make a good communication, the nurses should understand the
perspective of their patients and they must also display sincerity, kindness and courtesy,
when trying to help their patients. The other factors the nurses must remember is the
confidentiality regarding the condition of the patient, necessary language skills and using the
proper experiences, when making an attempt to properly communicate with their patients.
The article decided that communication is a very important ongoing process, which
involves expressing the opinion of one party and listening to that opinion by the other party.
An effective communication helps in developing a good interpersonal relationship between
those two parties. The reason for making an effective communication with the patient is to
make the patient feel comfortable with the nursing staff. It is a bidirectional process, which
helps the nurses develop a proper therapeutic relationship with their patients.
The target audience of this article was nurses, who works in a professional setting.
The article described the needs of making effective communication t between the patients and
the nurses.

The study was focused on the importance of the effective communication in nursing
in order to improve the performances of the nurses themselves. The study was focused on the
nursing staffs, who worked in the ICU. It was previously established that the ineffective
communication increases the instances of burn out in the nurses, which affects the
performances of the nurses, which is directly associated with the quality of care provided by
the nurses. The study found that the nurses, who are experienced, had a greater educational
qualification and older are more competent in making effective communications. The
research study involved a cross-sectional study design and the sample size was 197. It was a
qualitative study, which concluded that it is very important for the nurses to develop the
competency in making professional communication in order to improve their performances in
providing quality care. The nurses should be provided with proper training to improve their
skills for making proper communication.
The study concluded that the ICU nurses must be provided with proper trainings in
order to improve their skills in communication. The nurses who work in the intensive care are
supposed to deliver a quality care to their patients. In order to achieve that the nursing staffs
should be provided with proper training.
The targeted audience of this article were the authorities of the healthcare centers and
the nurses who work in the ICU. The aim of this study was to determine how the
