sexual revictimization in newlywed couples.
According to the researchers women who possess a history of
child sexual abuse are more likely to experience sexual coercion
by their husband. Along with this, an effective correlation with
child sexual abuse and trauma within married women has also
been found. According to the findings, sexual revictimization
takes place in the context of a new marriage, and these
experiences are associated with enhanced trauma symptoms.
