1.1 Business summary: Please write business outline. (who, what, where, When
and how)
A business plan is a detailed report comprising of details related to an entity engaged in it and consist
of information about the manner in which sole proprietor would commence its start up. The Start-up
chosen is a coffee shop named Anytime Coffee (Appelo, 2019). The plan is to provide coffee
considering health factor which is having 2 different categories –Hot and cold coffee. This shop is
proposed to be opened in a road side market of London street at the rented ground floor of KMGs
Square.
1.2 Describe your core product or service:
The core product of such shop is two types of hot and cold coffee which is healthy for general public.
The cold coffee supplied includes honey and jiggery to make it sweet and the hot coffee supplies is
made up of low fat cow milk which is beneficial for persons who faces obesity and other health
problems. Further these two types of coffees are customised according to the needs and taste of
customer.
1.3 Your immediate and future business aims:
The immediate plan for such coffee shop is to address those people who are health conscious and want
organic ingredients in their life style (Addis and Holbrook, 2019). If such people are addressed quickly
in a short period of time, then it will the great start for such start up. The future business aim to
provide multiple variety of coffee considering the health that is important in today’s world after
considering Covid 19 also.
1.4 Please state the amount of seed capital required and partner
investment: (Up to a maximum of £40,000 – see ‘Project Scenarios’ doc.
for clarification)
The amount of seed capital required is £30,000 by way of government loan. Such loan is taken for 10
years @ 5% rate of interest. Further such start up is started by four partners and they will invest £2500
each in such venture. Therefore, the total fund required to be invested is £40,000.

Management structure. (approx.250 words)
1.5b Professional team skills: (Outline individual team members transferrable
and professional skills as per your current CVs only).
As far as team is concerned, this start up initially required a chef who much have an experience of at
least 5 years in food industry. In order to assist him in coffee making 2 assistant chefs is needed who
must have a diploma in hotel management and 2 years of experience in hospitality. Further 2 waiters
are needed who serve the coffee to consumers and 1 receptionist is needed who manages billing via
cash or online transfers who much possess experience of 2 years working as cashier in any food
industry.
1.6b Each team member’s roles and responsibilities:
The head chef is responsible for super vision of coffee prepared by those assistant along with former.
The quality check and the quantum of ingredients included in a coffee mug much be checked by such
head. The assistants much ensure that list of item required to make these products much be maintained
adequately in stock so that shortage can be avoided. The receptionist cum biller is responsible for cross
checking all bill with cash received and much be deposited in bank daily. The helpers cum waiter is
assigned to serve such coffee to customers. They must ensure that no one has to wait for the long time
after they paid for coffee. Further they are also responsible for cleaning the seating arrangements on
daily basis along with complete sanitisation.
1.7b. Identify your company’s skill gaps, then chose one role and create
a legal advert with the skills required and their roles and
responsibilities
The skill gap in such start up could be coordination between chefs and waiters with respect to service
of orders is lacking on weekends and holidays when rush is more (Bertaux-Wiame, 2020). The billing
system implemented is outdated as it does not calculate tax separately on the bill. Further waiters are
not so polite with the customers at the time of service of orders. The one skill gap from the above is
billing system is outdated. Such system much be improved by implementing new billing system. The
invoice must be dated, having separate column for invoice value and taxes paid. Further it must
indicate the registration number of such start up and in the bottom there much be the column of
signatory.
