It discusses the geographical scope of the organization, proposes an IT infrastructure, and explores the adaptation of virtualization and cloud computing. 1. Introduction:
This report has fundamentally aimed to perform investigation on the application of
virtualization and cloud computing on the business field of Business Enterprise Centre
Australia. As the organization has expressed the interest towards the adoption of cloud and

virtualization with the purpose to enhance their services as well as they have also decided to
open a branch in Sydney in order to expand their business. A detail investigation on the
services of Business Enterprise Centre, Australia has mentioned that this organization is
fundamentally based on providing the effective solution to the businesses related to their
resources as well as it helps to improve the business strategies of the customer organization.
However, the organization has realized that due to rapid change of the industrial scenario it is
very essential to incorporate advance systems into the business model of Business Enterprise
Centre. Followed by this objective this report will provide an idea about the adoption of cloud
computing and virtualization supported by the geographical analysis of the organization
scope as well as this will also discuss the aspects about the most effective cloud service
provider who will support the deployment of cloud architecture. Along with that the report
will also consist a detail elaboration of the virtualization techniques. Followed by this study
this report will conclude after the analysis of the dynamic scaling approach by the utilization
of cloud concept.
2. Analysis and proposal of IT infrastructure
This part of the study has covered the discussion on the analysis of the geographical
scope of the organization. Along with this in order to support the analysis a logical design as
well as it has effectively explained about the IP addresses. The purpose of this part is to
analyse the organizational scope as well as it will help to understand the proposes system
design and its IP address types.
2.1. Discussion on geographical scope
A brief investigation on the services and the business objectives of the organization
Business Enterprise Centre, it has been determined that the mention organization is basically

established in the Australia. However, the organization has less area included in their service
area the organization has now expressed their interest towards expanding their business by
opening a new branch in the Sydney location. Followed by the mentioned objective to expand
their business it has decided to adopt the concept of virtualization and cloud computing in the
business structure of Business Enterprise Centre. However, several studies has proven that
the decision to incorporate the cloud architecture into the business structure can help the
organization to enhance their services to a high extend.
Thus, followed by the objective of the incorporation of Cloud computing and
virtualization several studies has stated that the incorporation of the proposed concepts into
the business model of Business Enterprise Centre, it will offer several benefits to the
authorities of the organization which includes the features by incorporating the networks of
the branches of this organization into a single server network. As it has been observed from
the analysis of the business strategy, this business fundamentally offers location based
services to the customers, thus the cloud application will offer to interrelate the networks of
several branches by providing local area networks for each branches if the organization as
well as it will also provide sub local area networks to interrelate the department of each

branches. Followed by this analysis it has been noticed that as cloud offers to combine sub
networks in order to implement a large network it will surely provide benefits to the
organization in terms of cost deduction as well as enhance the services of the organization.
2.2. Logical Diagram for Sydney Branch
The above network design is proposed for the new office needed to be opened in the
building located at Sydney. For increasing the performance redundant network device are
used such that the response time of the network improves. Cisco ASA 5505 firewall is
installed in the network at the entry and exit point for enabling secure access of the intranet
for the internal and outside users. The servers are installed in a DMZ zone for restricting the
physical access and management of the identity of the user requesting for the access to server
network.
2.3. Type of IP address with Subnet mask used for Sydney Branch
For the calculation of the subnet mask and IP address of network needed to be setup
in Sydney class B IP address space and the Ip address is 176.154.0.0/16. The available
number of Ip address in the network is 65534 and it is enough for maintaining future growth

and expansion of the office network. Currently the company needs 1450 number of IP
address space for management of the user needs and thus it can be said that about 4% of the
address is used and amount 63% is available for expansion of the network according to the
growth of the organization.

3. Adaptation of virtualization and cloud computing
In this part of the paper it has included the discussion related to the cloud service
providers as well as it will also include the elaboration of the importance of the virtualization
and the techniques of the virtualization in the business field of Business Enterprise Centre of
Australia in order to improve the business services of the organization. From the analysis of
the service providers in this scope Amazon Web Service provide as well as the Google drive
has been suggested. A detail elaboration of the suggested service providers are mentioned
below:
3.1. Two organization providing cloud services for hosting email and web servers
From the analysis of the service providers in this scope Amazon Web Service provide
as well as the Google drive has been suggested for the purpose to effectively host the email
services as well as the Web services. A detail elaboration of the suggested service providers
are mentioned below:
Amazon Web Service (AWS)-
A thorough investigation has helped to determine the service of the Amazon Web
Services which can influence the business services. Several studies has proven that the

application of Amazon web services and workmail services of into business structure has
effectively helped the organization to manage the information, schedule the activities by the
utilization of mobile devices as well as the desktops. Apart from the mentioned services this
system also provides effective solution by introducing applications related to the information
accessibility of the business data by effectively accessing as well as analysing the business
emails and activities. The introduced applications can effectively run on the Microsoft
outlook, iOS and android. Followed by this features the implementation of Cloud computing
into the business module has a significant impact on the data accessibility and activity
scheduling. Thus, it can be stated that due to the feature of high security, availability and
accessibility of the Amazon WorkMail can efficiently incorporate one or more dices into the
system structure. Followed by this aspects studies has also mentioned that the feature of data
security in Amazon WorkMail is based on the concept of data encryption. Along with the
application of Amazon WorkMail the application of Amazon Web Services can help the
organization to have full control on the information resources as well as the location where
the information will be stored. Hence from this investigation it can be stated that the
incorporation of Amazon WorkMail will help the organization to improve the effectiveness
of the organizational IT infrastructure as well as it will effectively reduce the extra cost for
the purpose of getting on-premises email server as well as the purpose to making license for
the utilization of email hosting servers.
Google Drive-
This cloud based operation for data synchronization and storing process is power by
Google which offers effective information storing as well as synchronization of any sort of
data which includes the doc file, power point presentation, video, music as well. Google drive
offers to store as well as share the files effectively. Due to the mobility feature of cloud
computing Google Drive offers the services to store the information online and allows to

access those information without bothering about the location of the system. As this operation
does not restricted to any particular location, the customers can easily access those
information from any place. One of the major functionalities of this system is that the
incorporation of this concept stores the data automatically. Apart from the above aspects the
Google Drive also offers the facility to effectively analyse those data in order to make
effective decisions which will help the organizations to make appropriate actions against the
raised problem. Along with that the incorporation of Google Drive into the business field
offers to reduce the overall cost of the business information resources as cloud computing
offers to pay for only the services what the organization has utilized, rather than paying for
the services which will remain unused after the utilization of the certain part of the service.
Thus, from the analysis to the services of Google Drive it can be stated that it application will
effectively manage the organizational information which will have significant impact
business services of Business Enterprise Centre.
3.2. Techniques used for service virtualization for supporting and implementing
Cloud platform:
The virtualization technique in the cloud computing stands to represent the process to
create a virtual storage rather than being restricted into the local or physical storage. This
process allows to incorporate multiple organizations or customers to in one physical instance
by providing a global name to a physical storage location in order to provide the accessibility
of this resource when it is needed. According to several studies it has been noticed that there
is a significant impact of virtualization in the field of computing as it offers to be present in a
single infrastructure which improves the efficiency of the system by speeding of the data
transmission process as well as it offers the facility run several application in a single system.
There are basically four types of virtualization techniques present in the operations of Cloud
Computing. The below section will consists a detail explanation on the four virtualization

technique which includes Hardware Virtualization, Operating System Virtualization, Server
Virtualization as well as Storage Virtualization.
Hardware Virtualization:
This virtualization technique stands to represent the process of creating virtual
platform by installing a virtual software. Which will offer the process of installing multiple
Operating System in single machine in order to perform several task at the same time.
Operating System Virtualization:
This process is initiated with installing the virtual software in the host operating
system in order to create a virtual operating system which will provide the facility to run an
application on different OS platforms.
Server Virtualization:
This process is initiated with the installation of the virtual software in the server in
order to create a virtual server. The fundamental objective of this virtualization process is to
balance the work load of a single server among the virtual server.
Storage Virtualization:
This process is initiated with by incorporating the small physical storage into a single
line in order to deploy a large database. The fundamental purpose of this process is to avail
the data recovery process as well as effective data transmission process in the business
structure of the mentioned organization
3.3. Support of cloud computing for dynamic scaling
A thorough investigation on the business process of Business Enterprise Centre it has been
observed that the organization wants to adopt advance technologies in order to get the feature
of scalability in the operations of the organization. Thus, it has been noticed that the
application of cloud computing has a significant impact on the aspect of the scalability in the

organizational operation. The scalability stands to represent the process to expand the
capabilities of the organizational services when it is needed. This aspect has been introduced
by considering the rapid growth of the industry as well as the enlargement of the information
resources. Based on the features of the conventional process it will be very costly to
implement highly scalable system into the business structure of Business Enterprise Centre.
Thus, the scalability factor of the organization helped its services to handle large number of
customers seamlessly. Analysis has recommended that the application of Apache HTTP load
balancer has a significant approach on the services of the scalability factor of the selected
organization. Thus, it can be stated that the utilization of Apache HTTP load balancer will
gather the client request which will indicate the web application to scale up or scale down
virtual server by utilizing the subsystem. The Apache HTTP load balancer allows the HTTP
requests for the routing purpose of web servers and helps in hosting the web related
applications (Wieder 2017). Here the service monitor subsystem is important for gathering
the indicators of scaling for web applications and for calculation of their moving age.
Monitoring is very much important for keeping track each of the active session. The scale
down and the scale up event is called for starting and shutting down the virtual server within
the cloud server by instructing it through the subsystem.
4. Conclusion:
After successfully completing the investigation on the proposal of the organization of
Business Enterprise Centre, which has expressed an interest towards incorporating the cloud
computing as well as the application of virtualization, it has been observed that there is
significant impact present in the incorporation of the cloud system on the business structure
of the selected organization. In order to support the above statement this report has
successfully evaluated the aspects of cloud computing as well as the report has suggested one
of the most promising cloud service provider to support the deployment process. Followed by
