APPLIED BUSINESS CHALLENGE Task 1- Values Audit 1.The five personal values that influence my life choices and have assisted me to do well in both my personal and academic career in my undergraduate degree course are as follows: 1.Truth- “Truth to self”. Truth and honesty has always been the foundation of all that I did. 2.Determination- “having a positive emotional feeling”. Always determined of what I have to do and never lose hope. 3.Accountability- “being responsible of the actions of oneself”. Admitted whenever I made mistake and welcomed and enhanced myself through criticisms. 4.Leadership- “taking charge, leading and guiding individuals while being a role model”. Took change of my team activities. 5.Integrity- “doing right thing in reliable manner”. Always honoured my words. Career management is a process of investing all the resources for accomplishing one’s future goals of career (Noe et al. 2017). It is a life-long process that allows an individual to adapt to the every changing demands of the dynamic economy. Consideration of values is crucial to career management as of the fact that it comprise of the social rules. According to Akkermans and Tims (2017), values are the key elements for assessing the conditions and environment and they help in regulating the behavior of human beings in their personal and professional lives. I personally believe that holding my personal values will enable me identify and work for my future potential employers who share my views. According to Fouad et al. (2016), personal values are something that are crucial for making career decisions.

This will help me in ensuring that my company is adhering to all the Information Technology standards. Task 2- Capability Audit As claimed by Marcel (2012), the ability of an individual to express himself or herself in clear and logical manner both orally and in writing is known ascommunication skills. Throughout my undergraduate course, I have been working with diverse people as a group at several groups and projects. I have also made presentation where I got highest grades for my presentation style. Many of the times, while doing group works, I engaged in meetings and communication through online medium due to lack of time to meet individually. I have always ensured that I am engaging my audience and connecting with them in effective manner.

We were all working on a deal for one of our partner companies. Therefore,I showcased mygood organizational and administrativeskills through managing the team effectively within my departments. I prioritized my work while planning strategically for all the things that were to be done. I also set deadlines for the same. This depicts that I am a good planner and as claimed by Karl (2004), individual who plan are well organized and at the same time, they are more efficient and productive than their peers who do not possess these qualities. Team working is an essential still that is highly required for the ones working in the field of Information Technology. As I already mentioned that many of the times I had to engage in group activities and I have proven myability to work as part of a teamevery time. Throughout my undergraduate degree course, team working has always been a standard requirement. At my university, there is a stream of units known as Professional development where the students are taught how to work cohesively and collaboratively for solving the business related problems in practical manner. I believe that team work is way for profitable and productive than individual work when the goals and objectives of the team members are aligned. Bunn (2014) in this context too have opined that teams are more successful when the team members work collaboratively to achieve a common goal. During my professional career at Bankerbay, I had to interact and communicate with many clients in order to solve their financial or business issues. I have always showed my customer service skillsthrough my entire work role. I have a good experience in this field as I have worked as a customer executive in a private Australia firm as well.
