This case study focuses on a 23-year-old semi-professional football player who experiences competitive anxiety during soccer matches. The assessment involved an interview, questionnaire, and the use of the Youth Sport Consulting Method. The intervention included mental imagery, yoga, Pilate classes, and breathing exercises. The results showed a higher level of competitive state anxiety, which was affecting the client's sport performance and self-confidence. The use of mental imagery was found to be an effective strategy for reducing competitive anxiety in athletes.
