INTRODUCTION:
Digital applications are powerful and useful tool in running an enterprise. It helps in
managing business operations in effective way. It allows employees to communicate with each
other. Also, it provides a platform to enhance efficiency of employees (Brynjolfsson and
McAfee, 2014) By using applications overall organisation efforts can be integrated. This report
will show types of applications and their benefits.

1) Research
a) Today’s advanced world has duly necessitated the organizations to adopt effective digital
technologies that are applicable to the workplaces as well. This also gives a beneficial
opportunity to the entities to get digitally advanced and progressively move forward towards the
path of innovation. There exists 5 such well- defined techniques to create a digitalized workplace
and transform into modern working trends. Below are such some digital technologies that can be
adopted by the workplaces to transform into a digitalized workforce- Personal clouds- These basically represents consumer apps as well as devices that are
being used by the workers in accordance to their choices (Dodgson and George, 2015)
In context to the workplace, it is apparent to improve the agility of the employees by
together engaging them in a better manner. Immersive technologies- These are known to drive a rapid growth in the business with
assistance of an increased virtual reality. Although, its use will involve provisioning
training to the workers, providing field service to the customers and immersive services
in the conference room. This is also expected to enable the employees to use normal signs
for dealing with any complex procedures. Production studio technology- This involves the use of certain advanced tools such as
podcasts, nextgen presentation software, infographics and videos to present internal
exhibitions in newer ways (Lattyak and Nguyen, Amazon Technologies Inc, 2014) This
is basically to enable the workers to set and deliver content like sales collateral, etc.

 Embedded analytics- It is commonly seen in applications like SaaS with seamless
accessibility as well as democratization. It is basically used to perform a contextual
analysis of the data. It is known to help in making more informed decision for a huge
population of workers.
 Micro learning- It is known to assist the workers in becoming more competent and
proficient in a digitalized workplace (Buchanan and McCalman, 2018) This process
includes both informal and contextual skill training that are given through text messages,
modalities, quizzes and games, etc.
b) Communication being a pivotal consideration of almost all sort of organisations plays a
contributory role at the workplace with a greater assistance of connecting people and assisting
them to make a clear interaction with each other. It is with a similar concern of operating in a
digitalised workplace, below are some digital tools to be adopted by the firms to communicate
with one another-11 Message boards- It is stated to be one of the most effective tool for the workers to seek
information about any specific tasks or any general queries related to the work. This tool
can also be used by the management with a purpose of disseminating the vision of the
enterprise, encourage its adopted culture and broadcast any updates concerning its goal
(8Wang, and Alexander, 2015). It is thereby referred to be a very efficient tool for
sharing data.11 Live Chat- This is stated to be yet another effective tool that is used to lessen down the
volume of email. It also leads to enhance the productivity of workers by enabling them to
interconnect in real time, through live chat. However, it is useful for the employees who
are operating remotely in various geographic locations of the organisation.
3) Asana- It is a web based application that helps in managing and organising work. It works
on real time where employees work can be tracked and managed. This application is used by
managers in every department. With this they manage daily operations. The benefit of using this
application is that it helps in effective communication and completion of project (.Valenduc and
Vendramin, 2016)

f) It is very necessary to evaluate digital technology. It is because it helps in finding out loop
wholes so that it can be improved. For this standards are set so that performance can be
evaluated. Besides this, database is maintained. Moreover, efficiency of operations in measured.
It helps in finding whether technology has helped in increasing productivity or not.

These systems provide various types of services on internet. It includes storage ,
applications, server, etc. there are various cloud computing system. Three system are
Adobe creative cloud- The adobe company provides cloud service that helps in creating
applications. The advantage of using this is there is not need to pay for upgrading. But
disadvantage is it has to be download on multiple devices for using it.
Dropbox – In this files can be stored in cloud and can be shared between computers. Its main
advantage is it is completely free. Disadvantage is developers are having right to delete
information for inactive accounts. Its storage capacity is limited.
icloud – It is a service that is provided by Apple (Dodgson and George, 2015). In this photos,
file, videos, can be stored. The advantage of using this is it have unlimited storage capacity while
its disadvantage is it lack effective privacy and security. Its storage capacity is unlimited.
