Project manager play a significant role in commercial negotiation. The process of
project negotiation should follow a particular project management standard and
framework.
Project management framework as described by PMBOK is a basic structure of
understanding the process of project management. The project managers of the
project can choose from several frameworks that work for the projects with
business. The project management framework can mainly be considered as a
combination of the processes, tasks, tools that can be used to properly
implement a project from start to finish. The generic project management
framework mainly divides a project in different phases such as project initiation,
planning, execution, control, monitoring and termination. This helps in easier
implementation of the project. The project management standards and impact
helps in commercial negotiation process. Therefore it can be said that project
management standards and framework has a positive impact in the project.

Project Management maturity has a great impact in commercial negotiation. A
low project management maturity in the organization often leads to problems
with requirements and scope identification thus affecting the process of project
negotiation. Low project management maturity further impacts the ability of
tender documentation. An improper negotiation process leaves the supplier
organization in a tenuous place in a negotiation contract. In this case, a
negotiation may not be successful.
I have never come across a PraXitioner in a commercial project negotiation
situation. The outcomes can be impacted by the need for probity and
governance in government commercial negotiation situation.
The process of commercial project negotiation is important in the project as it is
