PLANNING FOR A CARNIVAL
•Arrangements for stage performances.
• Arrangements for fireworks.
• Carnival rides.
• Different stalls for foods and beverages
EXECUTION OF THE PLAN
• Execution of the planning requires to be done following
some simple steps.
• For the stage performance we searched for five renowned
DJs to perform according to the event.
• For the fireworks various safety facilities including first aid
were there to avoid minor accidents.
• Carnival rides were inspected by the senior executives.
• As it is a team based project, our team went for seeking
sponsorship to various Indian restaurants to amp up the
taste of this festival.
NATURE OF THE EVENT
• Diwali is known as a festival of light that brings people
from different community under one roof and cherish the
festival with ultimate joy.
• Hence, the natural instinct of this event is to arrange an
event that will reflect the culture and tradition related to
this event.
• The aim of this arrangement for Diwali carnival is to
provide satisfaction to our audience to make this event
special.
IMPORTANCE OF EVENT PLANNING
• Either it is a festival or proper planning is important to
execute the event in an organized manner.
• Every event should provide a roadmap to guide the
audience throughout the carnival.
• As a member of the management team I should ensure
that the planning of this Diwali event should cover all the
relevant angles of the event.
SCOPE FOR IMPROVEMENT
• Managing an event as carnival involves lots team based
activities.
• To improve the proper execution of the planning it is very
important to perform all the activities with collaboration.
• There should be a feedback section given by the audience
to identify the scope for further improvement.
