1. Definition of Australian Qualifications Framework”
The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) is defined as the national policy which has
been implemented in order to manage the regulated qualification of education in Australia. AQF
comprises of multiple educations such as higher education and vocational education and align
each of the qualification in a comprehensive national framework. The fundamental aim behind
AQF is to ensure that qualifications outcomes are consistent and nationally relevant in order to
support flexible qualification.
2. How does lifelong learning support individuals?
Lifelong learning supports the people to strengthen their professional skills and competencies by
providing relevant platform to them in which they can progress their career by accessing
effective training and development program. Lifelong learning also paves the way for individuals
to get recognition against their prior learning and experiences (Aqf.edu.au. 2019). In addition,
lifelong learning also plays a critical role in terms of underpinning effective quality assurance
arrangements through comprehensive training and development.
3. What does the AQF underpin?’
The fundamental objective of AQF is to provide with flexible framework which can integrate
diversity in the training and development of Australia for both present and future. At the same
time AQF also has a significant contribution on the national economic progression by supporting
the qualification outcome and thus strengthen the confidence in qualifications. At the same time,

AQF also supports the lifelong learning goal and enhance both the national and international
mobility of the workers by strengthening the value of Australian qualifications.
4. Different levels of Qualification in AQF?
The different levels of qualification in AQF include:
Level 1 Graduate with certificate I
Level 2 Graduate with certificate II
Level 3 Graduate with certificate III
Level 4 Graduate with certificate IV
Level 5 Diploma
Level 6 Advanced diploma
Level 7 Bachelor degree
Level 8 Bachelor honors degree, graduate certificate and graduate
diploma
Level 9 Master degree
Level 10 Doctoral degree

5. What level would the Diploma of Aero-skills be in the AQF?
Diploma of Aero-skills falls under the level 4- certificate IV of the Australian Qualification
framework.
6. Skills of diploma level.
Under AQF, the skills which are required at diploma level include:
The people should have the ability to evaluate diverse ranges of information in an
appropriate manner which is the key of completing a certain range of information.
The students must have the skill of providing and transmitting the solutions to any
complicated problem.
The graduates at this level must have the ability to transform both the skill and
information to the co-workers.
7. What are "Application of knowledge and skills" for the Diploma level”?
Application of knowledge and skills is defined as the comprehensive context in which the people
can apply both their skills and knowledge. Application of knowledge and skills is regarded as the
expressed form in the context of autonomy Application of knowledge and skills. Such
application can be both predictable and unpredictable. In the diploma level, application of
knowledge and skill enables the people to apply and transfer theoretical and technical concept
and creative skill in certain range of situations. At the same time, application of knowledge and
skill provides the people with the autonomy of performing complicated technical operations
independently.
