Executive Summary
This report is basically focuses upon three areas that are talent management, training and
development as well as leadership development. These are key areas of entity which has direct
affects upon their performance management. Moreover, In order to manage the people within
organisation, the various models such as talent management model, training and development
cycle and others are used in respect of focused areas or issues. Also, the manager should have
some effective skills, knowledge and behaviours which aids them in managing the people in firm
effectively and appropriately.
INTRODUCTION
People management is considered as a set of activities which incorporates end to end
improvement of talent retention, acquisition and optimisation while providing continuous
assistance for entity as well as effective direction for staff of firm. it is also called HRM which
includes overall practices of management, recruitment and rendering continuous support as well
as appropriate guidance for personnel of business (Bernstein, 2020). These practices may include
performance, management, hiring, compensation firm’s development, staff encouragement and
others. For this report, the chosen company is Easy Jet, which is known as the leading British
low cost Airline group. It was developed in year 1995 and having headquarters is in Hangar,
London Luton Airport, Luton, United Kingdom. They perform their business in above 30
countries all over the world along with domestic and global scheduled services upon above 100
routes. The topic which are going to be discussed in this report are contemporary issues that line
manager faces while managing people, competencies, attitudes and knowledge required to be
effectual people manger. Apart from this, Human resource process that support administrative
related to appropriate performance management are also discussed in this report.

People management plays efficient role within entity as this is considered as it is a
practices to manage, organise, control and administer the function and personnel of firm.
Moreover, this has been also determined that there are various activities which are being
implemented through it (Fronzetti Colladon, Gloor and Iezzi, 2020). However, there are three
key practices which are performed by HRM such as managerial and operative and advisory. It
