1.0 Introduction
The report has been used here for the description of the web based solution to be developed for
Phil and Wendy. The contextual analysis is on Natural-Lee organization which produces
vegetables, nuts and fruits which are certified, honey, eggs and decorative plants that are
developed utilizing standards of permaculture and biodynamic soils. The business began in the
terrace of Phil Lee where him and the companions started a nursery on network premise and on
account of the expansion in demand for the natural nourishment which are privately developed,
the business has developed to a business adventure.
1.1 Name of the organization
The name of the organization is Natural-Lee.
1.2 Organizational Background
The organization was started at first by Phil Lee who used to develop great organic products.
After giving up carpentry Phil was indulged into the permaculture activities. The organization
was formed up by Phil with the help of his wife Wendy. The organization started with selling the
products on door to door basis and home delivery to their customers. Additionally, the customers
used to make calls to the organization for placing their orders in the system and the products were
delivered at their doorstep. However, this was a time consuming process and the process was also
not suitable for the business of the organization. The finances and the customer management was
not performed in this process followed by the organization. Hence, the need for a web presence
of the organization had come up.

1.4 Area of the Organization under study
The main area of description in this report is the business process of the organization and
ordering and delivery process. Currently the manual procedures are being followed in the Natural
Lee company. Hence, there is lengthy process that the customers are required to follow in the
current procedures of the organization. The customers generally drop by or make the order on
call to the organization. The orders are then recorded by the orders department in the
organization. In addition to this, the delivery process is also manual in the system. The delivery
was made to the customers who lived in specific areas and not throughout the area or the district.
Hence, the business of the organization was restricted to a great deal.
2.0 Problem Description
The main problems identified in the current business scenario of the organization are:

Time consumption: The whole business procedure of the organization is manual and hence, the
full process takes up a lot of time which is very difficult both for the growth of business of Phil
and the also the customers are not much satisfied.
Ordering Process: The ordering process is very slow and lengthy for the customers. The current
business model makes the customer place the order by placing a phone call which cannot be
attended on a 24x7 basis.
Delivery Process: The deliveries are made only to the selected areas of North, South, East,
West, or “close” to Phil’s station. Hence, the business is being limited for the organization..
Payment process: The payment process is currently manual and Phil generally memorizes the
details. However, this is very risky for the organization as they might miss out on payments that
would be hampering the finances of the company.
2.1 Business Benefits
The main business benefits that the company can obtain with the development of the website:
Online presence: The organization would be having an online presence with development
of the website which would be helpful for them in the enhancement of business procedure
of the organization. This would also enhance their reputation as the website would be
helpful in spreading the response of the website. This would attract more and more
customers to the business of the company and expanding their business in the process.
Availability: The system would be available to the customers for ordering at any time and
the company would be able to have the orders even when the staffs of the organization are
offline. This would be avoiding the hamper to the business due to the unavailability.
Data Storage: The system would be able to store different type of data that would be
helpful for the company and Wendy so that the balances can be calculated efficiently. In
addition to this, the customer data and the orders would also be stored automatically, that
would enable procedures such as delivery alerts to the delivery staffs.
Customer Satisfaction: The customer would be getting an immediate response and an
online interface that would be making them happy and increase the overall customer
satisfaction towards Natural-Lee automatically.

Business Efficiency: The business efficiency of the Naturally-Lee organization would
also increase to a great extent as a result of the deployment of the website and the increase
in customer satisfaction. The organization would also save a lot of money with the
deployment and increase their revenue.
2.2 System Capabilities
The system capabilities of the Natural-Lee organization website are described below:
Provide login and registration facilities to customers
Place orders online
Make online payments
View customer, orders, products data
Allowing the customer to make order of the produce online.
Payment for the produce using different payment modes to be done using the system.
The system to allow placing order with either full, partial or no payment.
Analyzing the purchasing pattern of the customers and allocating discount to the regular
customers.
Tracking delivery mode and time remotely by the customer.
Allowing customers to sign up and enter there details for tracking.
Trip management whereby the system will be giving out the most preferred routes and the
shortest route to use while making delivery of the produce to the customer.
