Serra da Capivara
The Serra da Capivara National Park in northeast
Brazil home to several large rock shelters which
are decorated with pre historic cave paintings
which are dated as far as 25000 years ago. This is
considered as one of the earliest known human
paintings.
These cave paintings include scenes of prehistoric
rituals, hunting, trees and animals. The stylistic
movement of these paintings are the earliest
evidence of artistic representation of human race.
