Introduction
Organizational culture refers to underlying beliefs and the assumptions that helps in
contributing to the social along with the psychological environment of a company. It
discusses about the expectations along with the philosophy of the employees that helps in
guiding the behaviour of the employees. Contemporary leadership refers to the dynamic
relationship in between the leaders and the collaborators that helps in evoking the real change
in a company. Leadership can be said to be interpersonal influence which directs the
employees towards the achievement of the goals. The leaders in a company should be able to
accommodate the changes that can help in improving the efficiency of employee
performance. The purpose of this reflective essay is to throw light on the theories of the
organisational performance, culture and the engagement of the employees in a company. The
reflective essay elucidates on the talent management and the role that is played by the
leadership development in a company. It elaborates on the various kinds of leadership styles
that can work for the growth of a company. The essay talks about the relationship in between
the organizational culture and the performance of the employees in a company.

The most significant thing that I have been able to learn is that the cultural ideas
should be shared within an organisation. The organisational culture is established on the basis

within the framework of an organization. I have been able to understand that the management
should introduce the employees with the norms and the objectives that can help them in

understanding the organisational culture. I have understood that understanding of the
organizational culture can help in improving the performance of the employees. The various
levels of the culture in a company are on the basis of multifaceted set of the beliefs and the
values that helps in determining how the organizations carry out the business. The concept of
the organizational culture can be said to be of vital importance as it can act like a glue that
can help in bringing an entire organization together. The norms and the values prevailing in a
company have a strong influence on the people who are attached to a company. The insight
can be said to be connected to the organizational as the right kind of organisational culture
can provide encouragement to the employees working in a company. The perception of the
employees regarding the subculture can be said to be connected to the commitment of the
employees towards the company. The management should conceive the employees to be
more significant as compared to the rules in a company.

I have learnt that the culture of an organization can play an important role in engaging

leader and it operates with the help of procedures. The employee engagement can be said to
be of vital importance in the present age because it is related to that of organisational
performance. The engagement of the employees can have a positive effect on the aspect of
