Artistic freedom and expression
Artistic freedom is degree of performance allowance of artists in their artwork. The
artistic freedom should not be confused freedom of art (Zeno-Zencovich, 2008). Artistic freedom
is vulnerable right and constitutional rights. The artistic expression should be in the same degree
as legal protection just like any other type of the speech. For examples, it should be respected
just like any other form of speeches in political, religious, educational or commercial basis. In
modern day, there is liberty brought about by the fact of expression and speech. It has led to the
contention, friction, and debate about factions for the desire in complete freedom artistic freedom
and the individuals who are willing to have it limit in it (Milo, Penfold, & Stein, 2013). In the
real world, the complete artistic freedom is religious or political cultural anomaly. Many of the
societies sometimes protect the artistic freedom with the excuse of cultural development. This is
not acceptable at all. Considering the modern expression of the complete artistic freedom, for
example, the controversial Chinese artistic, for instance, Ai Weiwei, it gives the representation of
the individual who is strongly in the fight of the free artistic in the modern world today.
Following this example, Ai shows concern to the artistic characteristics in China. It is aimed at
making the statement which demonstrates suppression as results of Chinese policies (Carmilly,
2016). It is all about employing the expression that focuson the fact of freedom idea for the
thresh hold. It becomes very ardently by making the statement in which the individuals have
different tastes in the basis of the moral values. Jean Rousseau gives the idea for the counter for
complete artistic expression which is supposed to be refuted in the idea of making the modern
artistic developments. The complete artistic freedom is supposed to have extended in some
degree of legal freedom for all types of the recommended speech.

Some of the modern expressions are very controversial regarding the complete artistic
freedom. For instance, the expression that “freedom of artistic brings out risk aversion” is very
controversial following the fact that the key focus is looking on how the self-censorship has the
operation in the art institutions and organizations. In my point of view, reinforcing the artistic
support is one of the key artistic freedoms in the expression of the strategies promotion of the
artistic freedom.
Forgo rational argument should be employed for the purpose of creating the justification
the position that one is standing in defense of the complete artistic freedom. In this argument
expression, the expression of the art will result in the suppression of the creativity which is
inhuman and the suppression related to other titular censorship in the art environment
(Tănăsescu, 2011). Ai Weiwei has given the description of the same and has become the most
known artist in the world. Facilitating the conversation and dialogue between the individuals
who make art and those with the view of the art service to the public is one the best way to solve
any challenges that could be facing the artistic freedom in the modern world.
