Introduction
The term ‘arts’ can be defined as a means that describes creative expression of a valued
thing. It includes knowledge of culture, art skills, conversation, motivation and more. Hereby,
artist used to make communication with influences through their artistic creation that describes
their own ‘self-expression’, real life situations, a story etc. Such artefacts effect on mind of
viewers in long term manner (Doren, 2012). The present portfolio shows some artefacts i.e.
images and video that has inspired me to do how to achieve certain goal of my life. Further, I
have shown these visual arts to impact on teacher's perception and their pedagogy.
Cultural Lens
A cultural lens refers to a way that perceives the diverse cultures which exist in society.
In this regard, “melting pot” analogy is used to describe how diverse cultures of society change
the way of thinking, learning or analysing a thing.
I have seen this picture in first semester of my graduation, where our peers under their
lecture shows the importance of team work. Form above given picture it has been analysed that
in order to work in effective and efficient manner, it is essential for individuals to work in a
team. This picture shows that how helping each other makes individuals whether learner or

teacher, to do a particular work in an easy manner as well as finished on time. Like in given
image all peoples are giving their best in completion of task i.e. changing light bulb. When a
person works in a team then it make them able to increase their various types of skills and
knowledge. Such as communication skills, understanding skills, team handling skills and many
more. These all skills help an individual in attain goal and objective in effective and appropriate
manner. According to me it is essential to teach students about importance of team work at
school level. For which teachers can do various type of activities related to it such as provide
projects in team, ask for team assignment and many more (Inkelaar and Simpson, 2015). By this
student get knowledge of how to behave in team as well as how to solve issues or problems
which arise at a team. This is so because I also face some issues while working in a team which
affect my as well as team members performance, that directly and indirectly affect performance
of all members working in a team. Along with this it is also essential that everyone in a team
provide or give their best in completion of task. Teachers in school also provide sessions to
students in which they explain about importance of teamwork so that students get motivated and
understand its effectiveness in appropriate and effective manner.
Before studying anything about Mother Teresa, I had little knowledge of this incredibly
brave, amazing and inspiring personality. But when I was at the age of 13, I have read a novel
written by Greg Laurie to know about her. She belongs from Macedonia but have worked in
Calcutta for improving the vulnerable condition of starved people in India. By reading
bibliography of this brave lady, I have gained experienced about what risks and challenges she
had taken just to serve poor people. It inspired me to take patience while serving mankind. The
way she has struggled to help sick and poor people, encouraged to do something as she did for

improving life of people. As per one of her thoughts that, “It is not about how much you do, but
how much love put into your efforts, matters a lot.” This slogan encouraged me to put my efforts
into well-being of needy persons, without thinking what circumstances it can arise. In this
regard, I have analyzed that through lifelong devotion for the neediest as well as most vulnerable
societies, Mother Teresa has become an inspiration to countless millions of people. The
selflessness, struggle and sacrifice that she had faced while serving mankind and lived own life,
has made this personality an international symbol of charitable work (Busse, 2013). Therefore,
through love and compassion human beings can show their destitute of all faiths to help
vulnerable societies. Mother Teresa found inspiration in Catholic teachings, which change
idioms or pedagogies of way of my teaching also. Now to teach students especially of primary
schools, I have given more contribution to encourage them to make effective life goals and work
in such a manner, that becomes inspiration for others. Some other thoughts written by
professionals about Mother Teresa- “Spread Love everywhere and serve mankind, let no one ever
come to you without leaving happier”. It encourages me to behave ethically with every person
surround by me and help them in improving their vulnerable life. While other thoughts that “Be
faithful in small things because it will boost strength and self-efficacy to achieve success of life”.
Through this thought of Mother Teresa, it has been interpreted that by achieving smaller goals of
life, a person can attain high successful growth in ethical manner. Therefore, I told students how
to get success ethically and take right direction for the same.
I have learned so much about Mother Teresa through reading bibliography and life stories
as well as have been inspired by actions taken by this famous personality. The incredible trust,
patience, belief and self-efficacy of Mother Teresa give power to inspire other to follow God’s
call and boots my thoughts to be more like this brave women. Through devotional and love
affection looks out no wonder that such an incredible, inspiring and spiritual woman was known
as a Saint as she truly shows how to act Christ-like. Therefore, I have believed that Mother
Teresa is a perfect and wonderful example of how to spend life for serving mankind.
Political Lens
A political focus mainly to authentic learning, which involves a critical enactment. Here,
power relations are generally questioned and may be resisted accordingly. For making sense of
the data within this lens, it has been found that to broaden the Butin’s macro conception of

power, it is essential to include the micro-physics of power which play out in everyday activities.
In context with teaching sector, the way of pedagogy can be changed on the basis of parental
expectations or ‘who is watching’.

It is the most inspirational video which published on 2017, that I have seen last year after
completing my graduation, where entire journey of life development of human has shown. It
shows that how desires of people to get high standard of life and success, impact drastically on
other living beings, natural resources and more. It has been described here, whatever comes
during human development life-cycle, for well-beings people have used all. Increasing needs and
demands of people has given birth to industrialisation, where commodities are manufactured and
sold to fulfil the same. Enhancement of technology give advantages to people to use land for own
purpose and manufacture high amount of products and services (Whitaker and Lumpa, 2014).
This would lead to increase deforestation with expansion of industrialisation, which has become
one of the major issue behind global warming. Because within industries, heavy amount of
chemicals is used that creates harmful wastages and create pollution in atmosphere. Industrial
wastage also pollute air, soil and water components from wherever they decomposed. This would
to affect ecosystem and create Green-house effect that lead to increase globalisation. All these
procedures may destroy entire earth because usage of natural resources more and more for
personal satisfaction puts negatively on sustainable development.
Therefore, this visual orientation has inspired me to bring awareness among people about
how our desires and boon of technology, affect ecosystem and surrounding environment. I have
experienced the entire things through this video that how human development lead to increase
pollution and affect environment. Urbanisation i.e. movement of people from rural to urban areas
increase deforestation that led to depletion of natural resources and degradation of land. To stop
all such drastic effect of human development activities, I have analysed that companies,
government and human beings need to collaborate and run CSR activities. As a teacher, I have
shown this video to children in primary schools to entail them how urbanisation has led to
increase pollution. I have encouraged students to understand the importance of sustainability of
ecosystem and create ideas to prevent environment from industrialisation. I have told learners to

stop throwing garbage nearby water bodies and open place. As it can pollutes the environment too
and lead to create issues for living beings.
At the time of college, I have got a project on vulnerable condition of a society, where
millions of people are lived in most vulnerable condition today. At that time, I have taken this
pic for completing my assignment. They starve and live as the poorest on earth as well as
invisible even in death. This picture or rampant poverty has shown a deeply embedded wound
which has scarred the earth. But people who have high standard of living are much unaware from
these terrors of reality. It has created a deep impact on my mind and motivates me to do
something for reducing poverty (Wiltshire, 2013). I have analyzed from this image that to fulfil
own desires, people having market power extract resources for own purpose only. This make
others who live in vulnerable societies to stay starve. So, it is basic duty of every human being to
provide resources to poor people so that they can earn food for their sustainability. Through this
epic, I have taught my peers one (primary children) about real life facts where rich person
becomes more rich and poor ones become more poor. This lead to increase high gap between
rich and poor societies which is much difficult to decrease. But if run some programs like give
education to vulnerable about how to earn money. Then it will help them to come out from
starvation at least.
Post modern / Post Structural Lens
The postmodern/poststructural lens is based on certain visual arts related to real-world
learning that disrupts perceptions about who the teacher is and who the learner is. In this regard,
here, main focus is giving on real life scenario that impact both on learners and teachers'
perceptive. It can analyzed by taking some real-world scenarios as shown below:

At the last semester of my graduation, teachers have shown us this pic to reflects that how
many people chasing a common goal and give high competition to each other. From above given
image I understand that in today’s time there is huge level of competition due to which mostly
people focused on a common goal. Along with this by increase in competition level, numbers of
applicants are also get increased which pressurize person for conduct hard work in order to attain
their goal as well as objective in effective manner (Eddy, 2016). If now a day an individual not do
hard work and not get focused to their aim they may face failure which demotivates them.
Competition refers to a situation where there are two parties and main aim of both the parties is to
gain the goal or objective. In this situation one party will win and another wills loss. By this I also
understand that now a day level of competition and it takes place every where even in school
level. So it is essential for teachers to aware their students about competition at a marketplace. So
that they can understand their responsibilities and start working hard and effectively in order to
succeed in competition and their desirable goal in appropriate manner. According to my
perception to aware students about the competition teacher must talk with them to understand
thinking and desire and accordingly they will council them about the competition so that students
start preparing themselves in order to fight competition in effective and appropriate manner.
Along with this on the basis of my perspective in order to face competition in effective manner,
an individual needs to conduct planning of things which is going to conduct in future. So that they
get ample amount of time in order to execute things in proper and effective manner. That will help
an individual in get succeed in competition in effective and appropriate way.

This image has sent me by one of my friend on WhatsApp at college time when due to
some personal issues, the difference has created between me and my friend. It gives me an
inspirational thought to end the fight which has begun just because of anger. As per Gautama
Buddha, it has been analysed that to win heart of others and become a successful person, it is
essential to keep calmness and patience. With these two major strengths, a person can get an edge
over angry one by behaving politely. Along with this, get conquer over wicked person by
goodness and ethical behavior only. Through generosity, as a learner it is essential to speak
through only and be honest while serving mankind (Faizrakhmanova and et. al. 2018). By this
quotation which is given by Gautama Buddha I learn many things which improve my behavior as
well as leaving style. Things which I learn that, if I will handle angry person calmly, I able to
conduct work in effective and efficient manner. This will help me in improving my understanding
and communication skills by handling other person. It is also essential for school to teach their
students that they behave in effective and appropriate manner with other. This is so because it is

essential for everyone to understand other and their feeling, then advice or communicate them
accordingly in appropriate manner.
When I was at my last session of school and thought about what to do in future, which
subject I have to take for making career more bright. In this regard, that time one of my friend has
sent me this image. It has been understood that motivation is essential at each and every level
when a person wants to conduct a work in effective and appropriate manner. According to me, I
have analyzed that motivation can be of two types on is self motivation when a person is
motivated and encouraged by themselves. Another is motivation by other it refers to situation
when a person is get motivated by others and their appearance. As per the perception of Jibran
Bashir who is writer of respective article or blog. There are three main elements which motivate a
human begin to conduct any work or task i.e. power, affiliation and achievement. By this I
understand and visualize myself that I am also get motivated when I get something. This is so
because when we get something on behalf of conducting something then we get encouraged to
conduct that work in proper manner (Rowley and Bennett, 2016). Along with this, by respective
image I also understand that a person mainly encouraged or motivated by others or when they see
someone conducting that work. That will encourage them for do it in effective manner or better
than others. In context with teaching sector that if a teacher wants to motivate their students in
effective and appropriate manner then they must give something to them that will encourage
them. By this children get encouraged to do work or task in proper as well as effective manner.
According to me teacher can encourage their student by providing additional benefits of any
things. Such as extra marks given to those students who submit their assignment on time or extra
attendance will be given to those children will attend regular classes for one month.

Technical Lens
A technical conceptualisation related to real-world learning mostly focuses on the
effectiveness of pedagogies. Under this lens, questions related to efficacy, efficiency, quality and
sustainability of teaching and the way of learning are analysed.
As per the epic picture given below, it has interpreted that by getting normal education, a
person can earn a living. This picture I have seen during second semester of my graduation when I
was spending some time on Facebook Pages. There I have got this inspirational blog that clear my
concept related to learning. Here, as per perception of Jim Rohn, it has been analyzed that if a
learner learn by own experience then self-education will make them able to achieve a fortune.
Therefore, to become a successful person in life, it is essential to be focused on grabbing
knowledge from surround, real life facts and more (Theodotou, 2017). It will enhance life
experience and help in facing challenges and achieve success in highly appreciate manner. In this
regard, I have taught students to become self-learner rather than dependent on others. This will
make them self-independent person and enhance knowledge in a particular field.

At school time, I have gone with my parents to watch Harry Potter movie, in 2007 . It was
the fifth edition I have seen that generates curiosity to see previous edition and especially read
about the author of this book- J. K. Rowling. Through her autobiography, I have identified that
she faces many struggling situation in their life which are very inspiring. She is a single mother
who takes care of their children in proper manner. We know her as a writer of famous books but
she face dozen of rejection from publishers that her story is not good, no one like these type of
story and many more. But she didn’t leave the scope and she try harder to convince publisher and
then one publisher get convinces which make her famous overnight. By studying J.K. Rowling I
learn many things which encourage me such as never loss scope even after dozens of rejections as
well as given your best in every activity. It is also essential for teacher to tell story of respective
women so that they understand importance of hard work. By this children also lean that they must
never loss hope, if they face rejection or failure they must learn from it which help them in future
(Draper and Harrison, 2018). Along with this I also learn that nothing is impossible as well as no
one can stop me if I want to conduct some work. Like J. K. Rowling is a single mother and it is

very hard to take care of their children but never feel this as her weakness. By this student must
learn that never loss hope and enjoy the work which they are doing that will give them success.
Above given image is of Bill Gates who is one of the famous and richest entrepreneur. At
the time of group discussion in third semester, I have got chance to know about this famous
personality. He is a founder of world’s largest software business company i.e. Microsoft. He is
very hard working and devoted towards their work. From Bill Gates I learn many things which
will me in building my career in effective and proper manner. By studying story of respective
person who become one of the famous entrepreneur I understand that when you want to do
something then you have to devote to that. Along with this family of Bill Gates is also very
supporting they encourage their child in every activities which is very helpful for him. Moreover
their teachers are also supporting as well as understanding who understand skills and ability of
students in efficient manner and encourage them to do work that makes their life successful. By
studying biography of Bill Gates I realize that each and every teacher must have understanding
behavior so that they identify and understand their students. Then accordingly they must focus on
them and encourage conducting work which is appropriate for them, by this when a child does
work of their interest then he/ she will enjoy work and accomplish it in appropriate manner.
Moreover according to me it is also necessary for parents to encourage as well as support their
child. So that they attain their goal in effective and proper way. This is so because when a person

feel positive and supporting environment at their surrounding then they give their full efforts to
achieve goal.
This inspirational message I have got from social media pages when I was 17 years old. It
motivates me how to live present by learning a lesson from past experiences in better manner. It
has been analysed from this pic that if a person wants to get success in life and achieve goals as
per desired manner. Then it is essential for them to forget everything what happened in their past,
but learns due to which reasons they have defeated. Learning from past experiences rather than to
cry aid people to face present and future challenges more appropriately. Along with this, it has
also been interpreted that despite to take stress about what will happen in future, think about how
to live present first. Therefore, for this purpose, I have inspired children to just enjoy their present
and make goals what they want to achieve in future. In addition to this, if they had faced any
defeat in past then learn from mistakes and make planning that it will not happen again. This
would give advantage to gain high achievement by learning from past experiences. These lines
have inspired me to think positively and make solutions of every situation instead of taking risks.
To think positive it is very important to be happy and it leads to positivity and the same brings
confidence which helps to achieve the goals of my life. I am always try to be optimistic because it
helps to reduce negativity and develops positive thoughts which is helpful to handle the obstacles

of my life. I am always follow the rule of law of attraction where I am attract those things which
is giving me happiness and I feel positive. Positive feel keep life positive and help to get success.
I told to people for follow the law of attraction which can help to them stay happy and positive. It
is a famous quote which I heard at very early age of my life, back then I did not paid much
attention to this and never thought of applying it in my lifestyle. But after the death of my
grandfather I was devastated my life changed, this incident affected my studies, my relationships
with people around me. But one day as I was reminiscing the fond memories that I once shared
with my grand father this quote which he once taught me has helped in bringing my life back to
the track. I decided to use this quote and indulged myself in thinking positive thoughts and
activities.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from this portfolio that through impactful and creative images,
artist can express their real life experiences. They can easily influence others in what manner
people have to work for achievement of life. Artistic features inspire people about how to gain
success and achievement as well as help others for sustaining their life. This report also inspire
people to get experience from their past and apply it on present to get achievement of future
goals.
