IntroductionThe term ‘arts’ can be defined as a means that describes creative expression of a valuedthing. It includes knowledge of culture, art skills, conversation, motivation and more. Hereby,artist used to make communication with influences through their artistic creation that describestheir own ‘self-expression’, real life situations, a story etc. Such artefacts effect on mind ofviewers in long term manner (Doren, 2012). The present portfolio shows some artefacts i.e.images and video that has inspired me to do how to achieve certain goal of my life. Further, Ihave shown these visual arts to impact on teacher's perception and their pedagogy. Cultural LensA cultural lens refers to a way that perceives the diverse cultures which exist in society.In this regard, “melting pot” analogy is used to describe how diverse cultures of society changethe way of thinking, learning or analysing a thing. I have seen this picture in first semester of my graduation, where our peers under theirlecture shows the importance of team work. Form above given picture it has been analysed thatin order to work in effective and efficient manner, it is essential for individuals to work in ateam. This picture shows that how helping each other makes individuals whether learner or1
teacher, to do a particular work in an easy manner as well as finished on time. Like in givenimage all peoples are giving their best in completion of task i.e. changing light bulb. When aperson works in a team then it make them able to increase their various types of skills andknowledge. Such as communication skills, understanding skills, team handling skills and manymore. These all skills help an individual in attain goal and objective in effective and appropriatemanner. According to me it is essential to teach students about importance of team work atschool level. For which teachers can do various type of activities related to it such as provideprojects in team, ask for team assignment and many more (Inkelaar and Simpson, 2015). By thisstudent get knowledge of how to behave in team as well as how to solve issues or problemswhich arise at a team. This is so because I also face some issues while working in a team whichaffect my as well as team members performance, that directly and indirectly affect performanceof all members working in a team. Along with this it is also essential that everyone in a teamprovide or give their best in completion of task. Teachers in school also provide sessions tostudents in which they explain about importance of teamwork so that students get motivated andunderstand its effectiveness in appropriate and effective manner. Before studying anything about Mother Teresa, I had little knowledge of this incrediblybrave, amazing and inspiring personality. But when I was at the age of 13, I have read a novelwritten by Greg Laurie to know about her. She belongs from Macedonia but have worked inCalcutta for improving the vulnerable condition of starved people in India. By readingbibliography of this brave lady, I have gained experienced about what risks and challenges shehad taken just to serve poor people. It inspired me to take patience while serving mankind.
