1. As a teacher, I am interested in several pedagogic theories. However, I like
behaviorism pedagogical theory approach in a classroom setting.th theory enables the
teacher to be the only figure that gives authority in a classroom and leads the lesson.
Here, knowledge is easily delivered through a curriculum where each subject is educated
discretely. This is a mode of learning that is teacher centered and utilizes direct
instructions and lessons that are lecture based.
2. Services philosophy-I would like to become a behaviorist because the mental state
of children and people in general is grounded on behavior which is understood as
observable behavior. I would aim at learning how children present, conceptualize and
think about a situation. I would work with behaviorist with an aim to refrain from
accounting for a single type of behavior because I would be dealing with many children.
3. Parents think that the classroom environment has a great impact on a child’s
ability to perform and engage. Utilization of natural light gives a sense of physical and
mental comfort. The parents were also convinced that good lighting affects reading
vocabulary and science test scores. Rearranging the seats into circles and semi circles
improves all aspects of learning for the children. The color painted on the walls also
increases engagement, performance and motivation through indirectly impacting on the
mood of the children. The kind of furniture available also affects learning in the
promotion of comfort and functionability. Flexible classrooms are more dynamic and
engaging since it permits students to take possession to collaborate.

5. In the teaching profession, I have come to realize that children learn through
seeing, learning, reading and others through practical work. Children in my community
learn through objects in various ways. Most of the families have radios and some of the
children have benefitted from the same since some of those I teach have a great interest in

speaking official languages fluently. There are also soccer clubs in my society and the
children watch football in the afternoon. Some of these children have had a great interest
in football because some tell me that they want to watch people play or they want to play
football. The school also has a music and debate club. I take my children to listen to
music and some of them listen and sing the songs they heard being sung. Others will play
with goods as a symbol of guitar and saxophones they see being played at the music club.
Section 2 Designing Curriculum-plan
The classroom where I teach my children has good environment for them to learn.
The room is large enough and has partitions. There are washrooms on the far left corner
at the back of the class.to the far right at the back, there are sleep rooms attached where
the children sleep after the mid-morning break. The room has different color paintings
too. The room has big windows for the children to access enough natural light to enable
them read without struggling or having to use the electric lights.
