INTRODUCTIONAny agreement which is written or oral and is enforceable by law is known as contract. Inbusiness context, contract is a basic element which helps in building trust in different parties.This report is mainly concerned with the aspects of contract (Serrat, 2011). Further, this reportdescribes the understanding of elements of a contract and its application in business situations. TASK 2Case ScenarioCase AIn a given case, it has been described that MotorsRus Garage does the repairing andmaintenance of cars. One day Mrs. Pratt gave her Mercedes car for repairing and Salvatore'sworkshop ordered the metallic black paint for her car. One of the apprentices asked to paint hercar and without confirmation, he painted the car (Bix, 2013). In an evening when Mrs. Prattarrived, she identified the mistake committed by this garage that metallic black was for Peugeotand not for Mercedes and screamed on the manager that worst job has been done by them. Afterthe complete analysis, it has been found that supplier sent the wrong paint and apprentice did notmade inquire before spraying. Thus, as per the provisions of English Law, Salvatore's garage isliable to pay the damages to the customer that is Mrs. Pratt because the mistake was of trainee ofthe firm (Vogenauer, 2013). Case BThis case describes that Mr. and Mrs. Cooper visited the showroom of Salvatore and sawone car which was tagged as 'Sold as Seen' and has warranty for 3 months after the purchase.They liked the car and its price and hence, purchased it. Two days prior the completion of 3months, there appears some issues in the car. They took it to the garage and there was a breach ofwarranty so garage paid the damages by solving the issue free of cost. After 4 days, again theyfaced some problem and took it to another garage where they were advised that some repairing isrequired which would cost them around £5,000. Mrs. Cooper screamed on the manager ofSalvatore's garage in front of all the customers and asked for the damages (Piers andVanleenhove, 2012). 3
