REFLECTION
I feel go grateful to be a part of this study which is applicable in such a diverse manner.
This study can establish an outline for helping healthcare professionals in helping more people
associated with mental illnesses. While conducting this study I related with the stakeholders and
got to know the extent of excruciating pain that they feel because of their mental illness and
society being constantly being ignorant about it. I feel so thankful that I might be able to initiate
the help that they need with the help of this study.
What did I do well in my presentation?
In accordance to the response from everyone who is a part of this study as well as the
people who have seen this presentation, the best part of it is focus on the ethical and moral
considerations. The conclusion drawn in this report are on the basis of accumulation of data
collected from different sources using different methodologies.
What could have I done better in my presentation?
In order to enhance the overall quality of this project I could have used primary data
collection techniques. I could have made a short video of compilation of interviews in order to
let my audience hear truth from the source itself. I really think that would have given more depth
to my presentation.
Did I speak clear and loud enough?
While collecting information about this study I read interviews of old people who had
depression and it really made me question humanity. With the help of my presentation I shed
light on a very serious issue that old people are facing in the society and I tried my best to make
this as impactful as possible.
Was my body language appropriate?
I have been waiting for the opportunity to work on something this crucial for most of my
life. I really felt like the hand gestures that I used were really helpful in establishing that I am
confident enough for this study. I felt like everything from my facial expressions to my posture
whelped me in expressing that I am passionate about this study and this was more than just an
assignment for me because I wanted to spread awareness about it and I will continue doing so
until I make a change.
