Human services refers to a kind of widely defined concept including unique approach to
meet objectives of requirements via an interdisciplinary knowledge bases. It focus on the
prevention as well as remediation of issues along with maintaining quality of overall life quality
of entire population living in the country (Benton and Shaffer, 2016). It includes number of
human services providers such as teacher, health visitor, social worker, mental health worker,
child abuse workers, police officer, probation officer, medical doctor, psychologist, speech
therapist, nursing, midwifery and many more. This report is based on the profession of nursing
which provide care to diseased people as per instructions of licensed physician. It will focus on
main duties and responsibilities of nursing along with related policies.
