INTRODUCTION OF THE PANDEMIC
In this present time, COVID-19 is pandemic situation. It is an infectious disease that
mainly caused through discovered coronavirus. Many of the people fall sick with the COVID-19
will be experience mild to the moderate symptoms and recover without the specific treatment.
This disease spread easily and sustainably by air through small droplets. Most common
symptoms of COVID-19 are fatigue, cough, difficulties in breathing and fever. For reduce the
impact of Coronavirus virus, it is necessary for people to wear mask, use sanitizers and maintain
the social distancing (Bai and et. al., 2020).
KEY CHALLANGES FACING BUSINESS
UK is expected to be suffer worst recession this year. Economic contraction of this scale
has the far reaching businesses implication that are wrestling operational, safety and financial
challenges which posed through COVID-19. The main challenges faced by UK business are
staffing, revenue, health ans safety issue, insolvency, planning and audits. After lockdown, some
firms open their businesses but they face the issues about reduction in number of customers and
the minimum sales.
KEY SAFETY GUIDE FROM GOVERNMENT
People should maintain the physical distancing of one meter. Practice on frequent basis
about hand washing even hands are not dirty visibly and also use the sanitizers on alcohol base.
Government has changed rules for the people in England which are staying home and shielding
(COVID and Team, 2020). In context to organisation, any employee suffering reportedly from
suffering from the flu- like illness should not be attend office and also provide the medical
advice from the authorities of local health (Nishiura and et. al., 2020).
VIEWPOINTS FROM BUSINESS AND STAKEHOLDERS
Businesses are dealing with various issues because of COVID 19 as most of them have
been shut down because of Pandemic. Most of the stakeholders such as customers, investors,
employees are also dealing with the issues. Customers are not able to buy the items that are
required by them (Dong, Du and Gardner, 2020). Investors are not getting returns on their money
because of no profitability of businesses. Employees are facing issues of unemployment as they
have lost their jobs because of corona virus.
