INTRODUCTION Business environment is a continuous and flexible function which is influenced by the various factors which impact through inside and outside factors. There are several factors which are difficult to handle without proper analysis, which are mainly external factors. External factors requires high attention as per the different size and structure of the organisation. This report is going to analyse all the different kinds of organisation which has their own purpose into the communities and how the environment affects on their size and scope into marketplace. For this context, the report going to critically evaluate about three different organisation Tesco, NHS and Oxfam. Their interrelations of different function is also going to conduct in this report (Tredinnick, 2018). MAIN BODY TASK 1 P1 Different kindsof organisationswith purposessuch as public,privateand voluntary organisation. The organisation are mainly categorised into three different sectors which has their own motive and criteria behind their operations.Isis essentialto acknowledge all these sectors and their external influence. It is described below: Public sector organisation: public sector companies are established for the purpose of public welfare with the aim of less or no profit. Is is run and funded by government. NHS is a public organisation which provide health services to the general public in UK. Purpose:NHS run for providing healthcare service with motive of enough profit for daily functioning. Mission:The mission of NHS is to facilitate with health facilities at vert stipulated period of time(Hillary, 2017). Vision:The vision is to shower their patients with proper care and medications. Legal structures: Central Government:Public organisation are controlled and influenced bycentral government such as department for international government, UK government.
State Government:functions operated into the respective state will be managed by state government and influence for the same. Local Government:local government focus on locally enabled functions into local areas. Private sector organisations: private organisation are incorporated and run by local bodies andindividuals which are not bound by government funding and controls. They have their separate legal entity and continuousprocess.Tescoisprivatelyoperatingstructurewhichrenderfood,sanitation, cosmetics products into UK with the aim to achieve maximum profit and growth. Purpose:The purpose of Tesco is to earn enormous profit by focusing on their product quality and branding. Mission:The mission is to enable attractive services and offers to grab large customer share. Vision:The vision is to see the organisation into global level wherever the area has left from their reach(SAithal, 2017). Legal structures: Sole Proprietorship: This structure defines the role of single owner with full control over profit and losses into the business. Partnership: the business is operated by two or more than two members with equal rights towards profit and losses of the organisationCompanies-companies Act 2013 bound the organisation with its norms and said to be private and public limited company. Voluntary organisations: These organisation are incorporated for society welfare by making contribution towards charity and donations. OXFAM has taken into consideration for evaluating its structure. Purpose:these organisation are non-profit and incorporated for the purpose of social welfare. Mission:The mission of Oxfam is to eliminate poverty andmake a sustainable well being into country. Vision:Vision of the organisation is to make the people employee and literate for development of economy. Legal structures:

The company is founded in 1948 and it collects their funds through government taxations. It provide free services like dental facility, physiologist to residents and non residents citizens. Size: NHS has termed as the largest employer as it has its staff around 1.7 million, it has its global expansion into England territory by southern and northern Ireland. The expertise of doctors and nurses has their full specialisation,.Scope: it has its scope into national and international market as it established several health centres into England, Scotland and Wales. It provide services to more than 1 million people through its different segments. Private sector organisations:Tesco is the public limited company which is managed by their local bodies. It is the biggest supermarket into the world as it provide groceries, household, health and sanitization, banking and many versatile services. Size- Tesco has established into many contries and has employees over 450000 around all the stores. It has its annual revenue £63.911 billion(Grubor, and Jakša, 2018). Scope: Tesco has its scope into national and international market due to its wide operations hand has many divisional outlets like Tesco bank, Tesco mobile, Tesco dining and many more. They could easily service into global market by fulfilling market demand and trends. Voluntary organisations:Oxfam charitable trust was founded in 1942 to reduce poverty and aligationof poor and rich from the society so that every human could live a peaceful life. Size: size of these organisation are quite narrow and contrast as it focus mainly on local
areas for respective purpose. But it has largest retailer of Oxfam books and retail store which has around 10000 employees. Scope:Oxfam considers to be high scope into international market as it operates around 45 shops into England market and approx 1million people make their regular contribution at their charity. TASK 2 P3 Explain the relationship between different organisational functions and how they link to organisational objectives and structure. Every business has run under various functions with continuous procedure. Business functions has their connectivity in order to achieveone single goal which is performed by employees and mangers together. These functions consist of management of each department like finance, human resource and marketing. Human resource and marketing:human resource include those individuals who work for organisational goal and objectives by engaging their efforts and skills into organisation, in that respect, workforce need to be managed with management of production by rewarding them with promotion and bonus. On the other hand marketing involvevarious skills and abilities to promote organisational products and make effective strategies so that products could reach to large number of customer(Zizlavsky,2016).As these functions are inter connected because marketing function involve employee skills which require their proper management. Tesco has immensely performed these functions as they time to time provide them employee bonus for evaluating innovate ideas for marketing promotion which drives discounts, offers, credit cards for customers. Finance and Information & Technology:finance function is the most essential for the organisation as it involve cash inflow and outflow decisions which impact on probability, investment and liquidity of the organisation. On the other hand,information technology depict the function of being innovative through digitally and E-commercialisation by adopting new technologies and methods. These functions are interconnected in respect with Tesco, finance manger analyse the cost of digital sources and find the best source through which Tesco could continue its objectives(Badzińska, 2016).
CONCLUSION The business environment is a broad and wide concept in terms of business factors, ethics, size and structure, legal policies. These functions shows differentiation among all the sectors and operation in which organisation willing to operate and what circumstances they need to face. This report has shown and differential between size and scope of different kinds of organisation by undertaking Tesco, NHS and Oxfam into consideration. Also, these organisation have their own respective function which work together to complete their respective targets and objectives.
