INTRODUCTION
Career plan refers as the practical strategy which permits individuals to identify their skills
and interest, develops career goals and gives high efforts on the action that supports to achieve
them. It is constant process which includes current goals, interest and skills helps to transform an
ordinary person into great man. A effective career plan helps individual to get healthy bank
balance in start of months which leads self-actualization creates baseline to build other dreams
and achieves then by constant following career strategy. CV is a documentation process which is
used for job purpose in which includes skills and background information i.e. post school
percentage, post-graduation percentage and others. Career plan and CV are essential document
because analyse individual’s weakness and strengths. The brief study includes essential
documentation such as Career plan and CV and Study work Plan & Review Process etc. and
helps to understand strength, weakness, interest and current career plan strategy of individuals.

In order to develop my career as an engineer, I first need to evaluate my strengths and
weaknesses based on which I will be able to develop a personal development plan as well
(Abdel-Basset, Mohamed and Smarandache, 2018). SWOT analysis is the best tool that can be
used in order to evaluate my own strengths and weakness and this can be done in a flowing
manner:
Strengths
There are certain qualities and skills that I
possess which I can adequately categorise as
my strengths. These are:
 The analytical skills that I possess are
extremely well developed where I can
easily analyse the data that has been
presented before me because of the
simple logical manner in which my
mind works (Ervural and et.al., 2018).

 My communication skills are not very
good in a professional environment. I
often get nervous and am not able to
speak fluently which presents certain

made me extremely perceptive and I am
able to identify potential risks. This can

This has always helped me in sorting
out difficult situations because of the
friendly nature that I possess and can
potentially help me in professional
environment as well.

as well. As a result I need to work upon
these skills as well.
Opportunities
In the engineering field that I have chosen as
my prospective field of study, I have identified
certain opportunities that will help me in
succeeding in the professional environment.
These are:
 I can develop myself professional as a
problem solver. This is because I am
already good at risk identification and
market analysed. As an outcome, the
solutions that I develop in such
scenarios will also be effective enough
regarding the current problem that has
arisen (Gürel and Tat, 2017).
Therefore, I think this is a strong field
to develop myself effectively.
Threats
The threats that I face in the engineering
background to which I belong are significant
and wide. For me in particular, these can be
enumerated as follows:
 Lack of any adequate skills can make
me incompetent and this can lead to my
options of getting a good job limited.
This is a major threat to my career and I
need to avoid this at all costs so that I
can develop myself accordingly.
 Another major threat is that the skills
required in the market are changing
drastically and in order to address these
skills, I need to keep myself abreast
with the changes and developments that

ICT. Since I am an engineer, all of my

Study Work Plan is the strategic approach that enlists a set of goals and procedures so
that individuals can meet those goals over the time and provides understanding to other. Most of
the student organizes schedule outline with study time as well as learning goals which helps
them to focus on daily activities (Al Shobaki and Abu-Naser, 2017). A good study work plan
provides individual a sense of goals and develops short-term and long-term goals for achieving.
It is a type to study timetable which assist to keep priorities and keeps individual focused on

crucial tasks and improves knowledge as well. I belong to science background and I gave priority
to software engineering because I have more intertest in the engineering field. I organized study
plan in which includes about my activities that is undertaken on daily basis such as current study,
private study, part-time employment etc. helps to analyse my goals which I want to achieve.

 I am software engineer and I have more interest to learn
about new technologies and languages that’s why I join
online class such as Python Web Software & Web
Development Online Training courses. The main reason
behind is that it helps me to learn coding and I can
develop innovative web designs in future. It is
innovative software courses which emerges from past
few years and I know the requirement of the language
will be higher in the future. another reason is this when I
listen about python language that creates enthusiasm in
me to know about language (Cope and Baker, 2018).
While this institute is highly famous in the UK which
provides online training course and obtains certificate.
They organize online competition after completing
online course to check eligibility of student after
learning course. The certificate of the university keep
more value while giving job interview because
university follow legal criteria and gives honest result.
So, most of the companies consider this certificate. I
will get two benefits by competing this online training
courses first I learn new language and become enable to
develop software. While second advantage is this, I can
analyse my performance based on the test.
 Java Software & Web Development Online Training

Course is the UK’s best online training course which
helps students to learn programming languages i.e. class
based, object oriented and others. I join this class to
learn java language so that I can develop different
software. As same concept for this online course which
I explain above. Java is highly popular language
currently and most of the companies recruits only those
employees who know coding of multiple language. Java
language is not help to coding but also supports to
develop different type of software (Northwood, 2018).
The software is quite different from Python software.
Informational technology companies who operates on
wide scale needs java language coding because most of
the place java coding is famous then it becomes easy for
the companies to communicate with them effectively.
As I know I will go for job then I must know this
language. So, I join the online course for improving my
skills and knowledge as well.
Private Study
Whatever I learn from online training courses, internship and
extra curriculums, recalls them to improve my
comprehensiveness and retention power. I read my academic
books related to software engineering that helps me to
understand principles of each language which is needed to
understand (de Oliveira Fassbinder and et.al., 2017). There is
various principle which have to follow while learning different
software language then can do coding effectively. Even I
resolve previous question paper to analyse my retention power.
Apart from this, I read great journals books who has explained
about exceptional concept like Java programming barriers,
Pythons language exceptional and others.

 I join skills and development class to learn new skills
and improves existing skills. For example, Analytical
skills is not good in me which major weakness of me. I
want to improve this skill because I know in the future, I
have to face various critical situation then I must know
hoe to deal with situation and gives creative solutions.
Another reason is this I never want to make me feel low
due to scarcity of skills and personal attitude. In this
class I have learned many new skills like
communication skills, develop web design, analytical
skills.
 Currently I want to improve my ICT skills because it is
the part of field and I must know about different
computer programming and others. therefore, I attend
my class regular basis because I know this skill supports
me in future to tackle any type of computer issue at
workplace.

Part Time Employment
Full Stack Developer is software engineering industry which is
established in London, UK which offer part time employment
to the fresher. I sent my CV few weeks before and I got call
form the industry for interview purpose (Fletcher and
Harrington, 2018). I went there and senior authorities made me
comfortable. There were lots of candidates who came for
interview. industry had effective recruitment strategy they kept
three level such as written test, group discussion and personal
interview. I passed all levels and in last I got job. There is a
reason to take part time employment is that I want to learn how
to develop software and what type skills requires to manage
workplace. As I know I get new information about new

internship facility to the student. I join this organization by the
help of HOD because I want to learn about new software i.e.
ERP system, IT systems (Karabulut‐IlguJaramillo, Cherrez and
Jahren 2018). I have listened that organization gives advance
information about innovative software which helps me in future
when I looks for job. The university supports me to learn how
to operate ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) which is latest
technology but highly use by MNC’s. the reason behind is that
it integrates various type information systems i.e. Human
resource, Management information system and Decision
support system. Senior authorities aware me about Transaction
information system which works in ways online transaction and
invoices. These type system keeps various type of software
application to deal with different type of tasks. Apart from this,
I want to make myself great software producer so my goal is to
learn about each and every software which can improve my
skills and knowledge as well. Hilti GB organization offers
placement to internship students which is golden chance for me
to improve my skills in software development and grab
upcoming opportunity.

I join Online quiz competitions which are time affiliated.
Overall quiz competition related to information technology. I
give different type of quiz to analyse my performance and
knowledge. In addition, these competitions obtain certificate
when gets good marks as per their requirements. That’s why I
give many quiz competitions and I get many certificates from

performance (Kovalchuk and et.al., 2017). As I know these
competition’s certificate helps me in the future while giving
interview where I can say I win numerous competitions of
different universities and gets appreciation certificates as well.
Summary of the roles of graduation engineering jobs
There are a lot of responsibilities which the engineers have towards the society,
environment and the industry in which they are entering. Engineers work so that they can
provide a easier functioning a society and so that they can find it easier for them to understand
and use the technology. There are a lot of improvements which are done in technologies so that
the society can have a better understanding and functioning for themselves which is a very
important factor for them. There are a lot of codes and strategies and changes which have to be
made by the engineer so that the satisfaction of the society can improve which is going to help
the world be a better place (Barba-Sánchez and Atienza-Sahuquillo, 2018). Engineers have to
use sustainable resources they have to be very creative in doing so which is why there is a lot of
knowledge which is required in them. There have to be problem solving element in the engineer
so that they can find a solution to all the problems around and have a better outcome from it so
that the environment and the society can benefit from it. There is a lot of harm which can be
done on the environment by the use of technologies and the wastage which is generated from it
but there have to be smart ways which have to be found out by the engineer so that they can
make that a better functioning for themselves. There are a lot of safety of healthy and
environment aspect which have to be taken while constructed by the project into reality so that
there is a benefit of everyone.
Graduate engineer has the ability to made technical support in any industry. This also helps
to increase the economic growth due to better engineering jobs. Role of a graduate engineer is to
provide better information to the management about all the technical aspects which helps to
improve the performance of the industry to improve. Graduate Engineer has effective knowledge
which supports them to focus on growth of their industry and compete in market effectively. It is
very essential for graduate engineer to lean different skills and build experience to lead in the

field of knowledge and be successful (Baldauf and Luchinskaya, 2019). Graduate engineer had
the role to support senior engineer in their work and gain practical experience in return. This also
helps graduate engineer to increase their efficiency to meet their objectives and attain stronger
influence for the industry effectively. There are different activities which graduate engineer does
which includes testing of products and innovation in different types of industries to increase the
potential of business in market to compete and attain higher profit margins effectively. Graduate
engineer trainee has the duty to gather all the specific information which is required to complete
the project without any issues and also gain higher efficiency in doing it effectively. They are
having the responsibility to understand future and current trends of technology to develop
effective tools which increases the efficiency of company effectively. Engineers which are
graduates are also under training period and needs to learn all the practical knowledge before
working in any industry and with knowledge of each industry engineer has choice to opt their
suitable field of interest. They are responsible to manage all the project resources which will be
needed in the future and reduce the cost of project effectively (Rahmat, Buntat and Ayub, 2018).
It is also analyzed that there are different types of factors in external and internal environment
which impacts productivity of products and services in the market. Planning and scheduling is
required by graduate engineer to ensure effective working environment. They need to develop
effective communication channel with all departments to increase the integration in achieving
their objectives effectively. As it is very important for graduate engineer to learn to pay attention
to details to ensure quality standards of the project and improve the quality standards effectively.
Graduate engineer also has the duty to develop an effective understanding about current
customer’s behavior and trends to increase their satisfaction by making effective product design.
As they are not delegated with high responsibility of task due to lack of knowledge. It is very
important for industries to employee fresh graduate engineers as they have different vision and
knowledge which can help businesses to develop and gain better competitive advantage and
improve survival skills effectively. As graduates in engineer is trained in the industry and with
the passage of time with personal capabilities engineer gain promotion to earn more money for
personal development effectively. Due to improved and reduces education courses provides more
teamwork skills, communication skills, project management skills etc to achieve objectives

The field work is not given to a graduate in the organization because they lack in
experience than the others which is why they are trained so that the best can be taken out of
them. Knowledge is provided to them which will improve the skills and knowledge of them so
that there is a better functioning (Brooks and Youngson, 2016). There has to be good
communication skills in the engineer so that the organization can have smooth operations and the
training of the engineer can be better which is going to help the graduate for promotions and
better job offers. They have to plan and build a new idea so that they can work on it and help the
organization to grow which is going to help the graduate engineers to develop as well in this
field which is a very essential factor for them. There is a requirement of a lot of skills and
knowledge for the graduate to gather so that they can improve the functioning of the organization
and professionally develop in this industry so that they can achieve their objectives and aims
which is going to be very helpful for a long run in the market.

the engineering student. To evaluated strengths and weaknesses applied SWOT analysis which
helped to understand numerous skills, weaknesses, threats and opportunities which could in the
future due to strength. The personal development also concluded in the report. The personal
development plan provided understanding about weak skills and that improved by applying
several activities like feedbacks strategy, uses resources and others. CV is another essential
document which gave information about person like their working experience, education and
skills. Study work plan and review process has been summarized in report. Roles of graduation
in the engineering jobs can be concluded in the report.
