INTRODUCTION UBER is a well renowned ride hailing organisation operating within many parts of the globe. It uses integration of external and internal data for estimation of fares for customers. The fares are calculated by making usage of street traffic data, GPS data, own algorithms which make distinctions in accordance with the tenure of a trip (Insardi and Lorenzo, 2019). External data is used such as public transport routes for doing planning for several services. MAIN BODY It is well known that UBER effectually handles the information in an effective manner. It uses the GPS and street traffic data to calculate fares. Further, the data related to the consumer journeys in the past is handled and stored by the company for improvement of the existing services of this organisation (Saravana and Harish, 2017). This helps the organisation in building a better brand and providing better services to customers across the globe. Information system is acknowledged to be the software which helps in organizing the data for answering the queries and resolving the issues. Now, there are several factors that allow the matching of information system in accordance with the requirements of user within the bounds of UBER. Such factors are identified to be hardware, process, people, data, software, etc. CONCLUSION Many a times, IT issue arise within the companies, to address which, it becomes important to create and implement a policy. In this relation, it is identified that a policy may be developed in relation to domains such as network access, physical security, incident response, website privacy, internet use, email use, social media, etc. The policy will provide assistance in duly addressing these issues in a timely manner. 1
