INTRODUCTION Academic plagiarism can be defied as when a writer use more than four word similar or same from the printed source deprived of any use of citation and a precise reference of original source in present work. As all printed sources possess its own security and that is called copyright. In context of a business environment, the owner of company cannot copied or steal the idea of any other person or players of market(Husain, Al-Shaibani and Mahfoodh, 2017). In which the present report is based on the academic plagiarism and its analysis related to professionalism in a business environment. So in order to understand this, there are several term which is discussed in this assignment like the meaning of plagiarism, its relevance in academic writing as well as the types of plagiarism and role of internet. Additionally, why academic professionalism is related with the professionalism in business environment as well as consequences for lack of academic professionalism. At the end, methods for avoiding plagiarism is also discussed. MAIN BODY Plagiarism is process which refers to it is way to presenting of another author’s language, thoughts, ideas, expression and view in order to developing original work. On the basis of educational context they are different aspect because it is based on the situation paper (Ewing and et.al., 2019). It considered as one of the ways of violation of various academic norms or it is said those rule and condition which is not followed in academic paper. There are ample numbers of plagiarism which followed in academic writing and various ways to avoid these. Student also get benefit from online course and developing effectively academic writing content (Guraya and Guraya, 2017). Under these necessary to about knowledge of work, computer code, illustration, graphs and other media. It includes this method applicable equally to published text, data drawn from book and journals, newspaper and magazine etc. Unpublished data also plays vital role in order to come from lectures or essay. It plays important role in academic. It is important for everyone to avoid plagiarism in writing. It basically means taking someone’s matter from printed sources and then pretending that they are their own is term as plagiarism. And it became very dangerous for those who copied the matter as it is not legal to copy the printed sources. In which there are various types of plagiarism i.e. direct, self, Mosaic, accidental are the main four types. The direct plagiarism refers to copy am material without any attribution or quotation marks. It might be from journal, internet, books or any paper. In this internet also plays a wide role. In this 1
modern digital world everything is present or available on internet. Everyone can easily copied the material and along with it, can remove plagiarism with the help of so many sources or sites. In which, the most affects or blamed thing is technology foe encouraging students for cheating. Internet aids plagiarism in so many ways like it made easy to figure out plagiarism, growth of contract cheating, new principles of citation as well as it initiated the conversation. In all these concepts, internet plays an essential role in context of plagiarism (Javaid, Sultan and Ehrich, 2020). Academic professionalism or integrity refers to the standards of applying self-principles which permits individual to follow right direction even though in the absence of any other peoples or person. In a business environment all peoples or employees are strangers and have virtue of truth hence it is essential to possess professionalism in itself as with this a person can fits well in such environment(Owens and Nicoll, 2019).In context of business environment, it helps in various ways such as in establishing the trust among people of firm. Trust is very crucial thing as it leads towards successful in business. As well as it makes anyone degree to be valued, build self-confidence and helps peoples from getting out into unnecessary problem like being proscribed from employment by any company. It offers stress free life and increase operational efficiency of employee too. If people who are working in firm and not possess this quality of academic professionalism then company will face so many problem like company will not able to develop their organisation and will not able to attain its goal or objective. It is essential to create a boundaries in workplace for establishing personal relationship. Professional’s behaviour aids in separating the business from personal(Wilks, Cruz and Sousa, 2016).It keep limited relationship in business context. For instance, a judge have not a personal relationship or conversation with plaintiff or defendant. Additionally, there are various ways by which an individual can improve or avoid plagiarism in academic writing by keeping or tracking the sources that is written in(Keefer, Brown and Rothschild, 2020). By using paraphrase or quote in essay, by crediting or referencing original author in academic writing will avoided the plagiarism. As well as it is essential for writer to check the plagiarism before submitting any paper. With the help of all these individual can remove plagiarism in academic writing. As well as by avoiding the repetition of words instead of this use of synonyms reduces the percentage of plagiarism(Karnalim, 2019). So with the help of all these academic writing can be improved. 2
