By the end of the session students should be able to:
 Understand importance of Nutrition for an individual
 Understand health and wellbeing concept
 Identify ways in which nutrition can impact health and wellbeing of an individual.
 Identifying role of nutrition in recovery of an individual from any disease or accident.
Learning steps to achieve this include:
 Provide importance of nutrition
 Provide understanding of ways in which nutrition at different age can be maintained by an
individual.
 Providing information of different components of nutrition and ways in which lack of or
excess components can impact an individual
 Analyzing ways in which nutrition can impact health and wellbeing of an individual at
different age group
Class profile (including individual students’ specific need)
 London school of science and technology setting identified students’ needs of knowing
importance of nutrition.
 This will target students of age group of 7-18 students. The main aim of selecting this age
group of students is improving their overall health. This age group of students eat junk food
and it has negative impacts on them. So by making them aware about importance of Nutrition
along with ways in which excess and lower consumption of specific food can have on their
wellbeing.
 It is one of the best way though which students can understand importance of nutrition and
ways in which they can bring improvement within their overall health

 Explain ways in which excess consumption low under consumption of a specific food or
beverage can drastically impact wellbeing of an individual
