This task requires developing 1 assessment tool for Engage in Short and Simple Spoken Exchange at Work unit of competency. The target group includes student speakers, management, and professionals. The purpose is to develop spoken ability and short and simple spoken exchange practices. The assessment matrix includes questioning, portfolio of documents, third-party observation, production of an item, and observation. Assessment methods include pre-assessment, formative assessment, summative assessment, confirmative assessment, norm referenced assessment, criterion referenced assessment, and ipsative assessment. The assessment is applicable to all industries. The reasonable level of adjustments is made based on individual needs. Resources for assessor and candidates are explored. The assessment occurs from 9 AM to 6 PM. The process for gaining stakeholder review, evaluation, and approval is followed. The assessment instruments include observation and questioning instruments.
