How would you prepare for an On-site job interview?
Research about the company
The candidate would have learned a few details about the business in the first round of
interview. The candidate needs to make sure that he or she knows much more about the
organization for an on-site interview, read about its context, former CEOs, goals and ambitions.
The candidate must understand the culture of work and how he or she will fit in there, the
products and services offered by the business, their competitors, etc (Clement, 2014).
Understand the job description
The candidate needs to get more detail about the job role he or she has applied for,
particularly if the candidate is a fresher (Clayton, 2016). He or she must try to meet others from
the same job description while on-site, and learn how they function within the business.
Learn about the managers of the company
Until heading for the company, this is best to ask the person concerned for the day-to-day
plan. The candidate must read and know who they will be interacting with the managers.
Carry small notebook and pen
During the on-site interview, remember to bring a neat and nice notebook along with
a pen. Anyone never knows when any moment can occur when they need to list the major points
or share any details on the paper.

An on-site interview is the opportunity for meeting others also in the workplace, in
the informal setting. The candidate should maintain a sense of humor in the formal decorum.
Be wise during a conversation
The normal conversation of religion, politics or themes of sensitive topics can come up
several times in such scenarios. Avoid being part of these types of conversation and giving
the opinion on it is best.
