The project is concerned with the development of food truck business in
Singapore. It is the second status report on the project which has found out
that the project is moving ahead appreciably well. Some of the team issues
came up that had been managed effectivley. The project has considered
development of websites and mobile apps along with the consulting various
suppliers of food truck and food products. The project will finish within the
budget.
1. Background
The project is about the food truck business establishment in Singapore. The
food truck will be established along with the important components that can
kick start the business. The food industry is challenging and one can always
find businesses entering the market with new concepts and failing which
eventually results in huge losses (McLaughlin, 2009). It has been considered
that the food truck will be a cost effective method to enter into the food
business and earn profit. The food truck will highly movable and provide
enough flexibility to the owner along with the abilty to satisfy variety of
marketplaces (Weber, 2012). Food insdustry is the attractive sector and
anyone would prefer to venture into it (Goodacre, 1993).
2. Project Status
The project has crossed the initiation stage and this status report has been
developed to understand the progress. The project has considered consulting
with the food truck providers. It is expected that the project will be operational by

the end of the September 19, 2016. Mentioned below is the project scope:

2.1. Progress
Project is in its infancy and the planning and the preparation of the project is
going on. The locations for the food trucks have been decided and the budget of
$120,000 has been allocated. Though food truck is the easiest way to enter into
the business, there are certain limitations considering the existing players. The
exploration of market condition will be in progress to tackle the challenges apart
from the activities mentioned in this plan.
2.2. Performance
The project is yet to take off which will start from the last week October 2016. It is
expected that the project will stand on all the assumptions that have been made
earlier such as the team coordination, sponsor support, and enough budget.

has been true to the nature. The only issue came in the team coordination that
had been managed effectively well.
The project is achieving all its scope very well and it is expected that the project
will reach the completion stage effectively.
