Interviewer: Can you go through a typical day at work
Manager: Being one of the several project managers, my basic responsibility is to maintain
control and coordination all along the project development process. Generally, everything is
smoothly operated as there are adequate guidelines and provisions for each and every process. In
case of conflicts and misconducts the accountabilities increase due to the responsibility
associated with this job role.
Interviewer: What do you think is the biggest concern for a manager?
Manager: According to me, the biggest concern for a manager is to maintain equality and
combinational efforts for progress of the organization. As there are large number of departments
and separate institutions and a manager holds the accountability to incorporate a relationship
between all of these.
Interviewer: What are the major decisions made by you on daily basis?
Manager: Assigning responsibilities to different employees and to keep a check on their
operations require some of the most influential decisions making. This is justified by the routine
assessment carried out.
Interviewer: How do you analyse the team strength and individual capabilities of the employees?
Manager: The behavioural traits play a major role in identifying various strengths and
weaknesses of individual employees as well as the teams. Team meetings and conferences over
regular time intervals play a major role in idealizing different analysis linked to capabilities and
competencies. I myself believe that apart from the organizational behaviour, a manager should
be connected to its workforce as it provides him an ability to guide them.
Interviewer: What according to you are some of the most essential qualities which are required
for an early starter at your organisation?

Manager: In order to start in this industry one must possess basic behavioural traits and
characteristics as managing individuals and taking decisions on behalf of the organization
requires a sound mechanism driven approach. In addition to this, skills like effecient
communication, leadership and motivation are some of the additional attributes aligned to the
progress. These skill sets provide a favourable framework to operate in an early stage of career.
