Though both the terms creativity and innovation are used interchangeably, there lies a thin difference as explained by Aristotle. According to him, innovation is the practical application of the wisdom whereas the creativity is the direct outcome of the philosophical wisdom. Considering the organizational scenario, innovation is of much importance than that of creativity, as the latter, at times, cannot be put into application whereas the former is the practicality of the creative ideas. Conversely, if the history of academic scenario is taken into consideration, a suppression of creativity and innovation among children could be seen. Even in the modern education system, most of the educators are more focused in imparting academics rather than inculcating the creativity facet of the child. Out-of-the-box thinking is still not appreciated in many arenas and the traditional method of mugging up is seen as the only way of passing academics. However, with globalization, the scenario is rapidly changing and many institutions are welcoming new ideas and looking for a change in the education system (Perry-Smith & Mannucci, 2017).
