INTRODUCTIONEmployability skills are the techniques through which the business professionals willanalyse the requirements of this staff and make effective solutions to the issues incurred in theworkplace practices. It includes communication. Teamwork, planning and organising andvarious self-management practices that will be effective and helpful with context to makeworkplace improvements. In the present report, there will be discussion based on the issuesincurred in Travelodge hotel in terms of manging human resource practices. Along with this, thecase will have compared to the Carnival Corporation Plc to have suggest the effective techniquefor overcoming with the operational issues. Moreover, there will be recommendation based onimplicating various strategies and techniques in motivating the staff and improving theperformance of organisation.TASK 11.1 Set of performance objectives and own responsibilitiesAs per analysing the own responsivities which reference to the assigned jobs and duties onwhich it is required that the professionals must be have self-discipline as well as management. Itcan be adequate with reference to bring the effective commitment of the people with theoperations performed by them in meeting the organisational objectives. However, as peranalysing the managerial objectives where Carnival Corporation Plc have been impacting ondefining the best information about performance of the business (Jackson and Oliver, 2018).However, the roles and responsibilities of a human resource manager in the organisation can beunderstand as per the objectives:Own responsibilities:A manager is liable to operate the operational aspect in the business where they have beenassigned with the various responsibilities relevant with the Job for meeting the targets of firm(Messer, 2018). In Carnival Corporation Plc managers were assigned duties as listed in their jobdescription on which all the legal duties and mission statement have presented.The main motive is to meet the organisational needs by motivating staff as well asguiding them to utilise best of their efforts with reference to meet the operational targetsat the right time. It has been suggested to the professionals of Travelodge hotel to mitigate operationalissues with own understanding and consideration of responsibilities. 1

There are several objectives such as decision-making process, adaptability to changes,following and implementation of employment legislations and ethics as well as rights andresponsibilities.Own Performance:Referring to the professional standards such as performance appraisal, bonus payments,promotions as well as increment in the level of salaries are the main motives which will beeffective with reference to motivate the performance of an individual (Chen and et.al., 2018).However, influences of such techniques will be indicative and helpful with reference to meet theoperational motives and make qualitative increment in the growth and profitability.Hertzberg’s Two factor theory:This technique has been presented by Hertzberg in 1950 to suggest the effectiveimprovement in efficiency of staff.
